Do you happen to know where I could buy plastic sheets (2-3mm thick) by the meter? (I would use it as a transparent plastic tablecloth for various tables and desks I need to protect from my cats and liquids)
The one in your top link is only 0.25mm thick, not 2-3mm. Do you want it as a roll or really 3mm thick? If so, most DIY stores sell clear acrylic (Perspex is one brand name) at 3mm thick. But be aware, acrylic scratches very easily and will soon look quite messy.
You're right. I removed the first link. Something like the second link (the only one I left) would be perfect. It's 2mm think. 3mm would be ok as well I think.
Clear acrylic? Is it a roll or a solid piece? I need it to be foldable, not solid.
Also, it need to be ok to use as a tablecloth, so pretty resistant to scratches.
I have a normal plastic tablecloth on my table now (probably 1mm or less think), but my cats jump on the table and already scratched some holes in it.
Jumbo Crissier . It is outside in the garden centre. Last aisle on the left.
It is mounted (as a roll) on a type of "dispenser" that you can then cut to length. From memory, two thicknesses.
EDIT: And, I am almost 100% certain that Coop Brio Leman Centre has it as well. In the aisle near the back of the store where they have the wood cutting window.
I had to go to both at noon today to get some garden spray stuff so I had a look at the product.
Coop Brico:
The product I thought would be the one the OP is looking for is actually a PET plastic (comes in two widths) but is only 0.8mm thick. It is 5m from the wood cutting service window at the back of the store. See photo.
JUMBO:
The product is in the second last aisle in the outside garden centre. It is also a PET product that is 0.7mm thick . Comes in two widths. See photo.
Both stores do sell rigid plastic in 2mm thickness that can be cut to size for the furniture you have. The options are close to the rolled product I mentioned.
