Craving one now...
Burger king, if you need it quick and dirty.
thanks. any tips for a milkshake too?
Maccy's have these lovely Frappes atm. They are milkshakes though. Thick icecream and loads of chocolate sauce.....
Darn I want one now!!!!
Pregnancy craving....
I love frappes from Tibits. I have no idea how they differ from milkshakes.
I recently had a nice banana milkshake from that Helvti Diner near Stauffacher.
Not so thick that you had to suck until your eyes cross (although I like when they're that thick), but not watery either.
That restaurant Papa Joe's has them as well. The vanilla one was decent.
thanks. just got a chocolate frappe!
(and 3 cheeseburgers, couldn't resist)
I make milkshakes at home ... a banana, two big scoops of vanilla ice cream and a half-litre of milk in the blender, and Bob's your uncle! If other people want some too, I double the amount ...
I tend more towards just crushing ice and using double cream and plenty of sugar, but I'm sure yours is good too. Particularly great if you've got bananas that need using up.
So are there such thing as Milkshake bars in Zurich? In the US and UK they're a loads of quirky indpendent outlets.
Is Switzerland ready for such a concept? After all this country loves it's milk.
We just had milkshakes at Leonardo in Sihlcity. Made with gelato, 7fr each but a decent size and very filling.
I hope this will saciate an appetite... Presumably more flavours on Langstrasse
The Lindt Cafe Bar in the Airside Center at Zurich Airport has delicious milkshakes made with Lindt Lindor icecream. They are delicious.
However, you need a boarding pass to get airside (or have airside access rights, if you work at the airport...) :-/
Still experimenting with creating my own Johnny Rockets style Chocolate Malt Shake though :-)
Easy make with icecream and any fruit you favor!
Movenpick does very good one. There is one in Bellevue, ZH.
Helvti Diner by Stauffacher: http://www.helvti-diner.ch/menu/
I made one the other day with fresh strawberries and Hagen Daz strawberry cheesecake ice cream. It was delicious.
Sounds great, but am I strange in that I would rather have the strawberries and the ice cream as they come, not as a milkshake?
No - I'm just ridiculously pregnant and my food cravings make no sense at this point
Could be worse, at least you're not making coal and gherkin milkshakes!
Congratulations btw!
