where can you buy birkenstocks in Switzerland?

I've been to Halle Chaussure, and various other smaller shoe stores. No sign of birkenstocks. Just cheap fakes that are probably really bad orthopedically!

Anyone know where I can find a big collection of Birkenstocks? Specifically at Lausanne if you know... thanks!

Most online clothing shops accept items back that are wrong size.

I found birkenstocks actually at Migros Romanel last summer (50% off too!) But they don't have them all the time, you have to keep an eye out for them.

I also saw them in Migros Adliswil.

if you go online, you've got the official shop for Switzerland

found the ones I wanted (the same as the ones I have now - Milano narrow, size 40, havana colour) on deerberg. unfortunately, it's even more expensive than when I bought them back in America, and I really thought it'd be cheaper in Europe since I'm closer to the source... alright, given that we're in Switzerland, this was to be expected. Do you guys think I should just go over to Germany and buy it there in person?

decided to just pay for the birkenstocks that I found on the site. rather just pull the trigger and not have to think about it anymore. thanks for all your input everyone, my feet especially will thank you when I get the new ones! The soles on my old ones have been completely worn down to the point where the cogs are starting to be used up now... and I've been walking all funny these days haha...

I hope your old Birks, which were very much loved by you, rest in peace!

hohoho they might be in peace in pieces at this rate! unfortunately the new birkenstocks are out of stock at the moment and it might take 2-4 weeks for them to get here

I suggest a trip to Konstanz

They're cheaper in London. I was surprised too, as I assumed they'd be cheaper in Germany but I compared prices when living in Stuttgart and found that it wasn't the case.

Let me know how long it takes to have them delivered, I got the catalogue from naturaline.ch and need to upgrade mine as well. The Birki's kids' shoes look nice, too, way healthier stuff to use in school and recess as pantoufles, than what one normally finds around here.

I bought a false pair in the Migros 12 years ago for 10 francs, still going strong. Have been to Thailand 5 times, Kenya two times, Scotland anually.

Yesterday saw the same sort in the Migros, 24 francs... tempted if they last as long as the others. Which i am still wearing.

The top level at Loeb in Bern has a whole selection of them.

If you want some jazzy styles and colours then try qvcuk.com . They automatically will take off the VAT (20% I think) when you check out to Switzerland. And then you just need to bear in mind the Swiss customs if you get charged, usually when you are over £39 ish (inclusive of postages)

Has anyone seen Birkenstocks retail around Zurich ?

My guest needs a new pair....
