Where do I donate stuff? (ZH) (charity shop)

I am about to leave Switzerland and have some random bits and bobs which I wouldn't like to throw away, but which I'd love to give away to a charity shop or something.

I've tried giving some stuff away through EF, but it was a big hassle setting pick up dates with each and every person who wanted things.

Any ideas where I can donate them?

I personally drop my stuff to our local in Adliswil - 'yvonnes brockenstubli' - Yvonne is friendly and never rejects my stuff

Try Caritas they have shops in Zurich for both cloths and other household items.

Yes, Caritas and Emmaus are the usual ones.

Swisscom has launched an initiative to collect old mobile phones. They can be handed in at any Swisscom store and at any k kiosk. Irreparably broken ones will be recycled, useable ones will be repaired and sold, proceeds go to SOS Childrens Villages, an organization that caters for orphans all over the world. Seems easy. The initiative is called Swisscom Mobile Aid. It ends on November 30.

can we giveaway even children's toys too in the above mentioned shops or is there any other shops specifically for them?

thanks in advance

Try your local Swiss Red Cross shop or check out www.hiob.ch for their nearest store to you.

I am pretty sure I saw childrens toys in the Salvation Army (HeilsArmee?) shop next to Hardbrüke so I assume they would take them.
