where is the best Italian pizza in Geneva

A place that was voted - la plus belle terrasse de la ville de Genève - Les Tilleuls ! http://www.tdg.ch/geneve/actu/concou...urs-2010-09-07

Truly amongst the best Pizzerias in Geneva...food portions are big, so (some of) you might need a doggy-bag !

For delivery I just order from Pizza Express which is on the back of the telephone book!! Edible and obviously not the best, but when you are hungry and that cold wind is blowing - who wants to start wrapping up and going out? Great if you are ill too.

Only once did they deliver and the pizza was not very hot, but other times were good and fresh.

Carnevale Di Venezia is the best!

I have been to them all. Da Paolo, Expresso Club, Luigia, ETC.

This wood fire Pizza is to die for and the price to match! I am a connoisseur of pizza! Eaten 1000's!!!

The cheese! OMG! Fior Di Latte here incredible! The sauce is so fresh and authentic. The crust is the perfect combination of chewy and crunchy!

They should enter the Naples Pizza Margarita competition!

If you miss trying this pizza in Geneva you are missing out!

What can you guys say about Molino?

I've been to Pasta d'Oro and can say that it is good. Their pizza is excellent and the service is good. The restaurant also feels like a trattoria and is comfortable.

I just have to recommend this place. I can't compare it to the places mentioned.

For 10 chf, I haven't tasted a better pizza.

That's the take away price for a number of different types...the fancier choices are 15. If you eat in, it's more but you get soup and bread.

Wood burning oven.

Only restriction are the take away hours...

11:45 - 2 p and 6:30 - 8 p.

Jonction - Italian pub

I'll try to paste a photo of the choices below.

[QUOTE=Greg530;360982]I live in Zurich but will be visiting Geneva tomorrow to see the Tindersticks play live.

Me and my buddy are kinda pizza conneusours (how do you spell this word?), so would like to discover geneva's best ITALIAN style pizza.

Any tips?

pizzeria-san-marco.ch is a very good one. usually they have special deals so you don't need to take a loan

Just to update this thread, there is a fairly new and really great takeaway pizza place called Daje at Rue de la Terrassière 8, run by a super-friendly young Italian couple.

Everything freshly made by them each day of course. Not expensive and tastes fantastic.

They have a website here: http://www.daje.pizza/

Da Paolo's as already mentioned and La Trattoria da Tonino near Cornavin station https://www.google.ch/maps/uv?hl=en&...NYlz4MSaxQCLIB
