Where on earth to buy a fridge?

I am going to rent an apartment without a fridge. I need a small one with a decent freezer within the cooling part.

Now I am based in Bern, but I cannot find a decent store!

Interdiscount seems to have none? Fust only has one in this range and it is not great (only Energy B rating). Mediamarkt does not have an online catalogue and I would have to go there by bus for an hour to find out.

Anyone know which national chain has a decent range of fridges? Then at least I can go and lookup if it has a store in my kanton.

Fust only has two in my class, one is too small, the other too energy consuming. Interdiscount.ch has none in this class.

I will try the others though. (But I still cannot believe the lack of good electronics suppliers, if those 5 are all there are, well and mediamarkt...).

I suggest that you drive to mediamarkt. They have a huge range of stuff, you should be able to find at least a couple of options. I wouldn't turn my nose up at a B energy rating - that's still pretty decent. If you have special energy requirements you might just have to fork out a couple of rappen a week extra for the electricity bill.

On the bright side, the outdoor fridge/freezer is starting to work well

Thanks Lob, that gives me so much more options. (Since I would have to hire a car to merely view fridges at mediamarkt).
