I don't mind visiting a store more dedicated to this kind of supply but I'm not sure what it would be called.

I have a project at home and I need a long length (3.9 meters) of metal plumbing pipe. It doesn't have to be new, or even pretty (I will probably paint it black anyway). But when I pop into Jumbo/Obi/Landi, I don't see anything like what I am looking for.
Looks like a galvanized steel pipe. Common for natural gas installations, so look for stahlrohre (steel pipes).
So, not endorsing them, google came up with a distributor with several shops in CH including a place near Basel. Pipes up to 6 meter long https://www.d-a.ch/product.cfm?CFID=...&ParentID=6417

What do you need it for, and how did you plan on taking it home had you have found it in one of those stores?
Hornbach in Binzen certainly has copper plumbing pipe kupferrohr, steel gas pipe nippelrohr, aluminium pipe, steel pipe, plastic pipe. chromed pipe, etc but I'd say you're unlikely to find a 3.9m length of straight pipe in any regular diy store.
