I would like to buy a new mattress and I have just figured out that queen size is not precisely popular in Switzerland. Any suggestions of good shops around?
I would be surprised if you can find Queen-sized beds here, but we have a 160 cm x 200 cm mattress that was bought here in Switzerland, and my Queen-sized sheets from the U.S. fit it perfectly.
Ikea has a wide selection of mattresses and is probably one of the cheaper places to go.

I already have the bed frame and because I have the matching furniture I would like to keep it.
For this reason I am solely concentrating on mattresses. So far I have only found one place to buy a queen size mattress: http://www.matratzen-bettwaren.ch/

60 in × 80 in (152 cm × 203 cm)

It's unlikely you'll find a mattress that size. Standard sizes here are 160x200 and 180x200. In France you'll often find 140x200.
As you found, you'll have to look at stores that specialize in mattresses to see if they can get you the size you need.
I have contacted the firm I mentioned above and they are very professional. Quife funny they make mattresses of all sizes ever 5cm: 75x200, 80x200, 85x200, 90x200, 95x200, etc. Amazing!
They have sent me a questionnaire by email (with lots of questions!) so they can suggest me which would be my best choice according to my personal needs.

That's excellent. You could get a 150x200 and it will fit inside the frame with room to tuck in the bedding!
