I used to buy them in Geneva, at Migros and Manor (La Placette), but where can I find them in Zürich? Thanks in advance.
hi Lakel, I'm pretty sure I've seen them at the market in Oerlikon . Globus and Jelmoli also sell them.
I've seen them in the larger Migros here as well as the Asian supermarket, Lien Hwa in Wiedikon.
I haven't seen them at the Saturday Market in Oerlikon, but I'll try Globus and Jelmoli. Thanks for the tip, Bartholemew!
Japanese restaurant Ginger in Zurich Seefeld serves them raw with a lobster and caviar concoction. Most delicious.
Thanks, summerrain!
I thought Migros in Oerlikon is big enough, but I don't find quail eggs there. Maybe I should take a closer look in Migros at Glattzentrum.
There's also a Lian Hua at Berninaplatz. I'll try there as well.
Hi
If anyone is still looking, this farm between Gockhausen and Dubendorf sells quail eggs from it's honesty fridge https://www.google.ch/maps/place/Wal...67c76b0e?hl=en They have loads of seasonal fruit and veg too.
No vested interest on my part, I just like buying there.
Look for Fiechter (red and white truck with a long line) at the market in Oerlkon on Saturdays or at Helvetiaplatz on Fridays. They always have quail eggs...sometimes even duck or goose eggs too...
