Where to buy stamps except in the Post Office

I need to send a letter today but the Post is shut, does anyone know when I can get a stamp from?

You could try a kiosk. You might have to buy a postcard or two though. Otherwise, try a neighbour.

You will quite often find a stamp machine outside the post offices or train stations

There used to be a lot of them, but most of those I knew of have gone. I think there is a method of do-it-yourself at home but I've no idea how it works.

I think this is it.

For business customers, there is Webstamp .

or via the Swiss Post Virtual Post Office

This is a great service, but I need to get stickers to print them on and they are in the office, which is further than the delivery address....Looks like the old fashioned 'BY HAND' way is going to the only way today !

Most Kiosks sell postage stamps: you don't have to "buy" anything else; it is a part of their offer.

My nearest kiosk is right opposite the address---Literally

You can print them directly on the envelope, or on regular paper and glue them on too.

I did wonder if you could do this, but i was thinking of Sellotape, I don't want to print all 16 on one envelope though, I stopped at payment so did not see the print options. Can you print 16 say on to 16 envelopes?

I usually buy them online on the Philashop, but they take onr to two days to be delivered.

Unfortunately the writer could be in Heaven by then

This is a good thread and might come in useful at another time to other readers but the letter I wanted to send is now on the move via Poste de Wife

Does anyone know where stamps are for sale in Zug (apart from the Post Office of course)?

Did you read the thread?

DID you read the THREAD? Did you READ IT? DID YOU?

1) All over Switzerland https://www.webstamp-easy.ch/

2) Kiosks

3) Most places who sell postcards to tourists.

4) Stationary shops (Papeterie)

Did you read the question? I said in Zug, not general locations which may or may not sell them.

Basically, any Kiosk: http://www.kkiosk.ch/de/dienstleistu...nstleistungen/

Did you click on any of the links? No you did not.

Try reading a few threads on this forum and you'll find that many of them relate to ex-pats bemoaning the smallmindedness of people who put house rules and regulations before common sense, leave anonymous notes rather than discuss things face to face or behave in a petty manner in the shared laundry room. It's an unfortunate downside to life in this beautiful country and the forum gives us a space to vent some steam. Now it seems that even on the forum we're not safe from these assholes :-(

Try using emails instead of posting stuff. Hope this suggestion is useful.

Gift Shops usually sell stamps too.
