Where to buy Taste of the wild dry cat food?

Hello everyone,

I have been trying to find 'Taste Of the Wild - Prey' dry cat food for my cats in whole of Vaud and online, but couldn't find it anywhere.

Has anyone seen this brand anywhere in Switzerland? or atleast even in France or Germany?

Their website have a “global” tab and you can search for countries, for CH they give an address in luxembourg as a distributor but they provide an email address. I would start by emailing them:
ET FOODS INTERNATIONAL TRADING SARL

                     					                         						                 									                 									                 									37 Route de Kayl

I get most of my cat food from zooplus.ch

It isn’t “prey” but it is the same maker:

My goodness that stuff sounds tasty ...

Thats what I was thinking. I want my Sunday brunch to taste like prey.

I'm happy that we have always bought Purina for our cat. You can buy the stuff everywhere and seems to be always in discount at some supermarket.

I did find that distributor's website, however it kind of looked dodgy with just one page and not a properly set-up site. I'll email them nevertheless and ask where they distribute their products. Thanks

The problem with the other flavors is that they are mostly made of salmon, which I tend to avoid feeding to my cats as it's high in mercury and other harmful heavy metals.

The problem with Purina and other low end supermarket brands is that they are full of fillers (potatoes, grains, starch etc.) which is not healthy for your cats.

Also their protein comes from 'animal digest' or 'by-product' (Google those, but be ready for some stomach churning stuff), high end brands on the other hand include real meat in their food.

I lost my 20+ year old former street cat last year and he spent most of his life drinking sewer water and eating whatever he could find ... but you do you.

I was about to say the same.

All our cats have lived long and happy lives (except for the one who was hit by a car) without any issues and we’ve always fed them supermarket cat food and they eat and drink goodness what when they’re outside.

We don’t buy the cheap supermarket stuff but we don’t buy the high end special stuff either.

I have to admit the mentioned street cat did live another 2 years after he was sent home from the vet to soon pass away due to organ failure.

My husband decided to give him raw ground meat from an organic farm we order from just to make him happy - it made him so happy he decided to request it everyday and stayed around much longer than expected. It was worth every franc.

I’m afraid I can’t help with finding TOTW Prey cat food, but tossing out a similar concept as a potential alternative:

Ziwi Peak is finally back in Switzerland - available now through Zooplus:
https://www.zooplus.ch/shop/katzen/k…utter/ziwipeak

Single protein, air dried, very high meat content, limited ingredients.

Available in Chicken, Lamb, Beef or Hirsch.

(For those who have been searching for Ziwi Peak lo these many years, their dog food isn now available as well.)

I read somewhere that you can get organic free range mice specially for cats to hunt.
