I like aligro too, but hate going through the Gübrist Tunnel and all the associated highway mess before it.

Next to Dörig Frisch Fisch and Aligro there is also Bianchi https://shop.bianchi.ch/ , but they do not serve private customers anymore since the Niederdorf store closed 1994.
Fresh, frozen, or dried?
Saltwater, or fresh?
For food, pond, or acquarium?

Frischeparadies was indeed Braschler’s Comestibles Import AG which was sold to Transgourmet Schweiz AG
Fischerei Braschler is an actual fisherman from Hurden. If you want to get closer to the source you must fish yourself.
Thus far we've had great difficulty finding sole that is not 50CHR per kilo In general, we more specifically look for fresh water fish, whole. Preferably fresh, but frozen would be okay too. Interestingly, we saw carp in rivers, but not in stores I am also thinking seriously about getting a fishing license.
I love fish, but here in Zurich, it's not that easy to find a nice one.
I used to buy fish at the fish Bottega back in Italy: nice whole fish everywhere.
Here I go to the Frisch Fisch Mercato. I think there is more than one in Zurich, but I've tried the one close to Letzi Park and I'm always super satisfied, also wild fish, squid, calamari, cozze (mussels) un vongole (clams) from Italy, for instance.
