Where to download copy of Covid Recovery Certificate?

Hi all,

Currently abroad and preparing to travel back home to Zurich. My wife and I are both fully vaccinated so will show our vac me certificates to board the flight.

My almost 2.5 year old is not vaccinated and needs to show proof of recovery. I applied for proof of recovery and have the paper certificate as it was mailed to our flat via postal mail. However, I stupidly did not bring it with me.

Is there a way to download that Recovery Certificate somewhere? I applied for it here https://covidcertificate-form.admin.ch/form but I don't see anywhere to download the certificate after it's been generated.

I am checking latest entry requirements and it appears only over 16 year olds need the certificate? So therefore my 2.5 year old does not need any covid documentation? https://www.bag.admin.ch/bag/en/home...ml#-1582639405 Just want to double check before I board the flight later this week.

Thank you in advance for the support

Call your airline. Governments have delegated oversight over documentation to the airlines. Doesn’t matter what the rule actually is, it’s the airline’s interpretation of said rule that counts.

As far as I know, the recovery certificate is only a paper version and cannot be downloaded, only mailed. Do you have electronic copy? Is it in your Covid app?

Switzerland does not require anyone less than 16 years of age to be vaccinated, have a recovery certificate or have a negative test to enter. But you should check with your airline because they are sometimes clueless about entry requirements.

This is what I came here to say.

Have you not scanned it into your 'covid app' ?

If no, if there a way someone can go to your place and simply send a picture of QR code on the cert that you can then use to scan into 'covid app' ?

Are you sure a 2,5 y.o. needs certificate?

No I did not scan it. It arrived the morning of our flight and we were such in a rush. I’m not totally sure where I put it even if I were to have someone go to the flat. Why is this not available to download? I don’t know if the 2.5 yo needs a cert that’s why I’m asking. I asked Swiss and waiting for response

I’d get on the phone, even if it costs you.

If you're flying back to Switzerland, you don't need any sort of certificate for anyone 16 years old or younger. If it is your country of departure that requires it, it's a different story, but you should be able to find that out from local sources there, not from Swiss.

It's not linked to any secure account, unlike the vaccination one which is stored into your VacMe account. The why does not really matter here, it's just not.... But like others have said, this is not needed for entry into CH.

I thought the VacMe account system had been discontinued due to security issues.

As you say it’s not really relevant since the child doesn’t need a certificate in any case.

No, that was that site where you could upload all your vaccinations, not only the Covid ones (can ́t remember the name).

The Vacme site is still online.

VacMe is the site for Zurich Kanton to book CoVid vaccination and it's where your vaccination certificate is stored in Pdf format.

Thanks.

Those of us who don’t live in Zurich don’t have that.

Thanks all - moot point now with the latest BAG measures taken https://www.edi.admin.ch/edi/en/home...-id-87216.html

I have my paper certificate which says "Recovered". Will Easyjet at Zurich let me on a plane to the UK with that? Will it count as vaccinated as far as the UK are concerned for entry purposes? This is my first flight in years, since the first Covid outbreak, so slightly concerned!

Best ask easyJet to be sure and avoid issues at check in

No it does not count as vaccinated for the UK, they only accept vaccines. But from the 18th, the UK has zero entry requirements anyway.

I really expected it would count and was betting on that! Very pleased to hear about the 18th, which is good enough for my purposes.
