where to find dairy and egg free cake?

Does anyone know where can we order a dairy and egg free cake? My daughters are allergic to them. One of my daughters' birthday is coming up so I hope I can find a cake for them.

Thank you in advance.

If you're not opposed to making one yourself, this is our go-to recipe:

I usually make it into cupcakes but have also done the cake version, they both work. I make a couple changes : applesauce instead of rice milk, and I add cinnamon in. I interchange chia seed or flax seed for the 'egg' replacement depending on what's on hand. Also, the recipe calls for freshly ground chickpea flour but I've never bothered with that, I just use the one in the shops.

My dad is our taster to make sure things aren't too weird, and even he happily eats these.

Egg-free, dairy-free and gluten free? At what point is it no longer a cake?

Sugar! Treacle! Dark chocolate! Nuts (maybe).

It is an ex cake ... a cake that has ceased to be a cake ... there should be rules about cakes ...

But isn't there dairy stuff in chocolate?

Most dark chocolate doesn't contain dairy.

Being lactose tolerant myself and having a visitor with big gluten problems made baking a cake a real challenge.

As far as eggs are concerned, I had enough challenges of deciding to bake on Sunday, only to realize half way in the baking I had no eggs (and all stores were closed). I tried using bananas and sunflower oil to substitute them. Both experiments turned better than expected.

I usually look for vegan recipes when having egg trouble, and substitute any flour for gluten-free flour or crushed almonds.

Recently tried gluten free cakes from http://www.topthecake.ch/ . I believe they have dairy free as well. Highly recommend.

No gluten, but quite a lot of Spam, I noticed.

Sounds good, Helm! Would you please post a recipe of these successful experiments? I'd like to pass it on to a friend who has a lot dietary restrictions. Thanks.

I'll have to check my laptop at home, but I have to confess it was more crazy desperate experimenting than following recipes...
