Which one is better HEC Lausanne or universite de neuchatel?

Hi all,

I need suggestion from you guys. I got accepted in Universite de neuchatel for Master of Finance,financial analyst and Master of finance in HEC Lausanne. Do you have any idea which one is better?and which one is cheaper for the living expense?

The only thing that's no contest is that living expenses are definitely cheaper in Neuchatel. Everything else is give or take. I believe Lausanne has the best reputation of any HEC in Romandie, but I think they're all fine. A friend of mine who had the same choice as you and did his research beforehand ended up choosing Neuchatel anyway. Which tells me that the difference wasn't that significant.

Nightlife is much better in Lausanne, it's a great student town. Neuchatel is a village by comparison. But it's another reason for "student expenses" to be higher.

what was you bachelor's degree major ? mine is Economics and Management.

What was your average grade in your bachelor's ? I have 12.75/20

Did you take GMAT, GRE or IELTS ? I only took IELTS and got 7 band score.

Could you please tell me how many students got admitted to this program last year ?

Lausanne would get you much better networking/learning options, and would offer you a very dynamic culture due to presence of EPFL, UNIL and IMD.

It is a beautiful town with plenty of things to do.
