Which property website is best to find a rental apartment?

Is there anybody here (B permit holder) who has really found/signed a new rental deal by searching a website and organising a visit? If yes I would really appreciate having your experiences and avoid wasting my time.

Higgs, I don't want to be mean but this is your 4th thread about finding a rental. I know housing in Romandie is tight, but still...

Can you tell us a bit more what problems you're running into (other than supply and demand) and maybe we can offer more relevant solutions? There's a lot of good info in the sticky at the top of this section as well:

Thank you for the note. I understand it may be redundant. But information change over time, and these threads may at least work as sources for other poeple.

By the way, I couldn't find any website about recommending websites.

The fact is that, the last time I was looking for an apartment, it became a terrible nightmare and I want to avoid that experience as much as I can.

It is a lot of work to slog through a bunch of posts to find the info you need. However, if you can give us specifics then we might be able to point you in a more narrowed direction.

For example, if you're constantly getting rejected because you have green hair and wear nothing except a bandana around your middle, we might offer different suggestions than if you're looking for a flat painted in unicorn horn dust.

On a more serious note, does your employer have a relocation assistance person or company? Even if the employer isn't paying, it might be a good starting place to get information and leads.
