I was wondering if you could help me out with this one. I want to get a PSP but I am not sure which one to get. Basically psp go or psp 3000?
After some research, the PSP 3000 seems to have some inherent problems to it, whereas the psp go is lighter and has wifi posibilities, but it seems a bit more complicated to use
What I am looking for is something simple, that I can use for 4-5 hours (mainly during plane trips) and I jsut want to play games like little big planet and some girly games as well as maybe put some music on it (this is not a must since I do have an Iphone).
Any ideas or advice will be greatly appreciated
Thanks!
PS: Used the search option but did not quite get the info I wanted
This model has the UMD drive so you can buy games on disks. Also, this allows you to sell your games when you get tired of them plus you can
buy game disks second hand.
With the PSP go the only option is to order games from sony directly on-line. This means you cannot profit from discounts given by the local shops. You cannot sell your old games or buy second hand games.
The PSP GO is horrible and I hope from the depths of my heart that it will fail horribly ! (i buy a lot of second hand games )
I have gotten a couple of games for the IPOD but I also want to get the PSO because I love little big planet and the comands are easier thatn with Iphone...my fingers are too big ...thanks for the answers!
Thanks everyone for the responses! My husband is boicotting sony so he did not really have any advice for me ...even though he isthe technical genious!
I think Ill get a psp 3000 but first then Ill try to download more games for my Iphone
Thanks everyone!
PS: I think I'd buy a new PSP since they are very cheap now (129 pounds sterling at amazon!!!)
I have a hacked PSP (older model) and it's great imho. Lots of good games around for it by now, and you can watch movies, store pictures etc. with additional memory cards.
I find it strange that so many recommend the 3000 for the UMDs. I have a PSP that I used extensively on my long commutes over the past years (I think it is a 2000). I find the UMD disks extremely annoying in the age of death cheap memory sticks. Why buy physical disks instead of downloading and carrying multiple games with you?
Lake many others, I fixed this myself... so Sony understood for once the customer and did not come along with yet another new media type for the GO. It looks awesome to me...
sorry to hijack a bit the thread, but Sony or Nintendo are not good options IMO today when one can run lots of different games (for free), watch movies, listen music, browse the internet.. program if you will, with one of these:
