why the used Land cruisers are so expensive?

Does anyone know why the Land Cruisers are so expensive second hand in CH? i mean, a 2010 with 150.000km with sol pack goes for 36k on autoscout (probably was 50 new) and the base is 42 brand new and there is one on autoscout brand new 1km base for 38k.

even 10 year old examples are 20 or more k, i dont get it.

i know its very reliable but its not on par with the x5 or the ml gl class for the interior and the driving experience and they seem to be cheaper so whats the deal?

Used toyotas are generally expensive. Demand amd supply rule.

Basically - if they are in good working order - they will continue to be in good working order. They are solid, dependable, strong, simple workhorses. If you look at the new prices for them they are relatively good value - with basic models starting from <40k rising to 100k for a fully specced V8.

Just need to look at all the CH registered land cruisers (80s in particular), that you see if you are travelling through western or southern Africa...

They are great reliable trucks particularly when looked after. Wish I had kept mine when moving from Ireland!
