So today I was driving from work to home, and I always take the same road, thus I know the length of the traffic lights and the correct lanes to stay on.
I was on the StauffacherquaiStrasse (Zurich) and Selnaustrasse intersection. (Screenshot below)
There are 3 lanes, on the intersection one goes to the left, the middle in front and the right one to the right. I was on the middle one as always and the traffic light turned green ( I was the second car in line) The guy ahead of me drives and he gets flashed, the guy on my right gets also flashed and I also get flashed ( I assume) There were 3 flashes, we all passed on the Middle lane green, that’s 100%.
Now here’s the catch, the guy from the right lane crossed the intersection on his red and he didn’t turn right but went straight, almost hitting me.
So I assume that the flashes were for him, but why 3? Do I and the guy in front of me (from the same lane) also get a ticket?
Here is a screenshot of the intersection from google maps, showing the right lane guy, and my position.
