It's a VoD and TV channel provider, available via Smart TV app. (* already available on Samsung, LG, Philips, Toshiba), or set top box for one-off purchase of 128,00.

Cost is 9,90 per month, but a year up front has to be paid (118,80), but a months free trial is offered and contract can be cancelled during that month.

Channel list isn't too extensive (scroll down on first link), but it appears to have everything I watch and can always be supplemented with Zattoo (also Smart TV app.), free or sub for better picture quality and no ads.
I, personally, would pay 85,00 p.a. for the sub, if it was one of primary viewing options; therefore SwissTV and Zattoo would together cost just over 200,00 p.a. - much cheaper than Cc.
...... although not so much offerings in HD, but as I only have a 40 incher, I could probably live with that.
So guys, anyone tried a Wilmaa box yet? The HD package seems quite good!
I don't really see the advantage. They're more expensive than Cablecom, while offering the same? Cablecom has fiber, Horizon GO, same channels, etc.
I would expect something better from a proper IPTV provider, e.g. sharp prices or international channels that no other provider offers.

You can save this (even when part of your Nebenkosten, it's the law ) when you switch to real Fiber To The Home
Cablecom uses coaxial... and if you change your home to a real fiber connection then Cablecom will not work. I am switching to symmetrical Gigabit (1000/1000) fibre in June, so I apparently cannot use Cablecom.
Wilmaa or a similar service will be the next best thing, and at around 100chf per month I will get all my TV channels and way faster internet.
Sorry, I meant they most likely use fiber anywhere else (e.g. switches), not into people's homes.
I am currently on Swisscom fiber (which is 15 Mbit i.e. ridiculous for the price I pay), but am noticing no difference other than on my bills.
Hence why I cancelled and will be going back to Cablecom in about a week.
Wilmaa is not the next big thing. There are many IPTV "providers" that offer global channels in combination with e.g. a MAG250 box, for a lot less money.
So which provider offers you a Gbit up / down for CHF 70 (since Wilmaa will cost you about CHF 30)?
Can you share with us what provider are you going with? and also what speed you are going with, is that 100Mbit/s or 1000Mbit/s ?

I use Wilmaa.com to watch English TV on my notebook. 19 channels... and it's free! I kid you not. Just open a free account.
Sorry for missing this, but that was correct. Fiber 7 and I love it.
I prefer it to Zattoo when I need laptop streaming in a pinch!
