I have a Wingo internet connection, which is using a rebranded Swisscom Internet Box 2 as a wireless modem and router.
In the past I bought a Swisscom branded WLAN-Box2 which paired and worked perfectly with the Internet Box 2. They are both Wifi 6 mesh compatible. Now I need to get another one to cover some blind spots in our house.
However, the WLAN-Box2 is no longer available. Swisscom sells a WLAN-Box5 which is claimed to work with SwissCom subscriptions only (–insert expletitives-- vendor lock-in --insert expletitives–)
Would you know of another WIFI 6 mesh box that would work well with my current setup? There appears to be some kind of “settings synchronisation” between the two boxes at the moment - but not sure if that is somehow relevant should I use another device…
Any advices/experiences/recommendations?
