Women using Male Bathrooms

Recent trend I've noticed here, both in Basel and Zürich: It's a known fact that women have not been anatomically graced with the right equipment to facilitate a quick turn in a bathroom which means that the long lines at concerts and major sporting events leave some in a "touching cloth" conundrum. So many girlies are now jumping ship and using the men's cubicles and although most men don't seem to bat an eyelid, I've noticed that it's actually improved male demeanor and behavior when the females enter the scene. No more loutish macho name calling, hands are being washed and an overall "being more pleasant to your fellow washroom user" phenomenon can be observed.

Are we taking the lead in banishing the final gender divide and will we see joint bathroom facilities in future? The debate is opened.

I hope not...

I'd hate to be part of those goddamn awful lines women have to incur to go to the restroom.

And there goes the last male refuge.

Does make it more difficult to wee though.

Would I get away with using the ladies toilets after some fella has just dumped his guts into the blokes and the smell makes my eyes water?

It is actually a theory of mine that the reason that women live a few years longer than men is to make up for the time that they spend waiting in queues for the bathroom.......

Stage fright huh!

I really have no problems, until I have to wait in line too. But that doesn't happen too often.

For the single lockible washrooms, I use the womens one sometimes, if the mens is used and no women are waiting.

Just facilities IMO

I'd honestly rather piss my pants than go to the men's toilettes.

Most of the times, men are such slobs on public toilettes and you'll just have pee everywhere and the smell... Why is aiming so hard?

I also must admit there is not really nice to enter the ladies bathroom and find the toilette seat up! But in some cases I have actually seen women walk out from the toilette, but still the seat is up! Where is this world going?

Durumrumrum... du ru ru ru ru ru ruuuu.....

It is not stage fright, but im pretty sure some off the girls would try to take a peek on the merchandise.... there goes having a good personality for ya.....

Well we don't have the same distance to cover by sitting , now do we?

On a related note, there was once a time where I got to go into the girls WC on my unviersity... shocking.... I actually found the men's toilets far cleaner and with less grafitti... really...-

This reminds me of the story of two little friends - a boy and a girl - who were on a picnic. Both needed to use the facilities so they went into the woods together (just children, mind you). The girl squatted while the boy stood. Curious, she observed her friend's method, concluding "That's a handy thing to take on a picnic!"

Couldn't agree more.

As for us grown-ups, well I've used the men's room out of desperation on occasion, usually leading to a group of other ladies hopping along after. If it's just for a quick spot of relief, I have no qualms about it. The men have always been courteous (if a little bemused) and I've never heard a rude comment. Nevertheless, privacy is better. I say keep the divide unless the risks outweigh the benefits.

I saw this in an article about Music Festival...

Women have now their "artificial" object to pee like us....

No more need of going into a Male Bathroom, the first tree will do the job perfectly...

if you read French, it's here : http://largeur.com/?p=808

They had these at the Gurten Festival (well last year) and a large trough for squatting. They were handing them out as the women entered. What disgusted me was the women who folded it up and put it in their pocket once leaving.

Well, I have seen the way women leave toilets and I am very often disgusted. I am thinking the toilet seat being up means the woman has balanced herself while peeing so as not to touch the seat and therefore run the fear of losing the skin off her rear end due to whatever she might be catching. That's a fair one though, as long as she actually gets the toilet and doesn't pee beside, which is something I have seen many times. Absolutely gross!

Women are no better than men in public toilets. Shame shame

I agree on the smell in the mens though. Jeez, like having lots of male cats all peeing in the one place. Flippin whiff!

The real question is will the girls still get 5 or 6 of them into a guy's cubicle? Why they need to make a social event of it beats me. Another X-File me thinks.

What is your source for this information, Nelly?

We don't actually go into the cubicle together - just to the washroom together. The other 4 or 5 will be standing outside the cubicle door chatting and perhaps looking about whilst they wait.

When I was a little kid I had the impression that you all went together in groups to clean after you finished...

I often use the men's especially in clubs- I don't care and the men don't either; we usually have great conversations and a good laugh.

Since men pi55 everywhere; along the autoroutes, corners of buildings, off terraces, into the sink, etc..I don't see what is so offensive about me going into a stall.

I've said it before in another bathroom thread-

In my younger years I used to pay my rent as a professional janitor. The women's bathrooms were almost without fail far more disgusting than the men's. And I will never understand women's fascination with toilet paper . I estimate that I had to stock the ladies with at least 5 times as many rolls as the men. And why does so much of it end up on the floor??

I think the worst was finding a beautifully formed log laid to rest right on the toilet seat. WTF?

For some reason this reminded me of an emergency bathroom stop on a roadtrip when I was around 6. The only place we could find was a scary looking diner/bar- all the guys must have been over 200 pounds, tattooed, chrome dome, chains. Mom took me to the men's room, and I remember very distinctly the men in there quickly discussing and lecturing me on how I shouldn't touch anything, use a paper towel to turn the faucet, one of them even laid toilet paper on the seat . Another showed me how to flush with my foot (already knew that one but the handle was too high).

Duh!!!

Exactly. The chat is ever so amusing.

I think while men's room are cleaner, they stink. Girls' toiletes might be dirtier, I think it has to do with some other business that girls have to do there, but I don't want to think about these grotty details. I would have no shame to use men's room, if I had to. Not the pissoirs, obviously... In fact I have used men's room quite often when I don't notice the little man/woman pic on the door

On the other hand, all the girls I know have decent WC manners, wash their hands, etc. The biggest pigs I have witnessed are the chick gym goers, unfortunately. Never wash their hands.

To those who don't understand the consumption of WC paper by girls, haha..Ok, so if I need to sit, I lay the seat it with paper, capishes? Then, the area neded to be wiped is a lot bigger than man's, and a lot wetter. Yuck, I never wanted to go into these details, did I.

What's up with today's topics? Dirty chick sports, toilets, nursing, inet porn, haha...Anyone anything else?

It's so sunny outside..
