I'm a young EU-citizen currently working in Switzerland (B-permit) and I'm interested in an MBA program in Germany. Now I’m working 100% in a company where remote-work is also accepted. Would decreasing my work percentage to 50% be enough to match German part-time requirements?
Also, I live quite close to the Swiss-German border - 2h30m by car from the University - and I wouldn’t like to move. Could I enroll to the program maintaining my Swiss residence, commuting and finding temporary accomodations in case of consecutive course attendance required? Would I need to apply for a permit in Germany in this case? Do you think it would be considered as “residing in Germany” if I just rent a room there for emergencies but I cross the border most of the days?
Last point (Please don’t focus your answers only on this): do you think it’s manageable to keep a 50% remote role while enrolled in a tough program 2h far from my place? The program is 4 semestres, 120 ECTS.
