World Record Breaking - How hard can it be?

I figure that there must be some obscure world records out there that should be pretty easy to break if we put our collective mind to it. I wouldn't mind getting myself into the Guiness World Records book if only just for one year and if only for managing to eat more Emmental than anyone has dared tried to before.

Anyone got any serious suggestions? Also amusing non-serious suggestions are welcome.

The easiest ones to break are things like largest cake or longest baguette. They just require organising and sponsoring. Check this site out for ideas:

"You are what you eat." Do you really want to end up looking like a lump of Emmental?

Seriously though, I thought that the Guinness Book of Records had scrapped records to do with eating or drinking large quantities of anything, years ago.

There was talk on the Glastonbury Forum of trying to break the World Record for number of people playing Twister at the same time at this years festival but from what I can gather no one got around to organising anything. How hard can that be? Everyone turns up with a Twister mat and a fun afternoon is had by all. The only trouble is that the current record is a Twister board of 103ft x 43ft so thats a lot of Twister mats that would be required!!

You are quite correct no more eating and drinking records are officially held or published by Guiness.
