Yoga teacher training

Does anyone know of any vinyasa or hatha yoga 200-hour teacher trainings in English in Geneva, Zurich or other parts of Switzerland? Thanks!

ooooooh, good question. I'm curious about the answer too...anyone? Anyone?

not too much here in switzerland. i remember seeing something but it was around 10,000 chfs and 4 years, a 500 hour. honestly, you are better to go and do an intensive somewhere or check paris or berlin. i do remember seeing something at airyoga i zurich recently, also .

what about this:

Hello everyone,

not sure if you are still looking, but in Geneva we do organize this summer 6-31 august 2012, the first YOGAWORKS 200-hrs Yoga Teacher Training. It is vinyasa based and focuses strongly on anatomy and how to offer safe classes.

we just got 2 more applications which leaves at this moment only 8 spots left.

with the Earlybird rates ending soon on 31 may 2012, whether you are looking to deepen your knowledge about yoga, considering a career change - or addition to your CV, taking this Teacher Training might lead you to a positive change in your life.

We believe this Teacher Training led by senior teacher JOAN HYMAN gives you the perfect foundation to share your passion with dedicated yoga students. Over the past 22 years, YOGAWORKS has been refining the program and marked the starting point for many great modern-day yogis liek Seane Corne, Shiva Rea, Kathryn Budig, Max Strom...

it's nice that this is offered, i know many look for the yogaworks certification but it seems very expensive compared to other trainings, including yogaworks and even some residential trainings. i guess it's swiss prices?

dear Amaraya,

yes we are very pleased to offer a quality training which has been tested and refined over the years, and which offers the aspiring instructors the best foundation we can think of.

concerning your question:

while nothing in Switzerland comes cheap, the fees are actually on the low range of comparable trainings in the area - some trainings offered are up to 40% more expensive...

The airyoga courses in Zurich are booked until 2013. And so is every other yoga teacher courses in ZH.

yes AirYoga http://www.airyoga.ch/zuerich.html . They offer 200 and 300 hour TT programs. They are very comprehensive and have seasoned teachers taking the modules.

Hi Jeff,

I am also interested in yoga teacher training. Had a look at your website, and understood that it is now too late to attend the 2013 Yoga Immersion & Teacher Training? Are you planning on organizing another course this year? Thanks, Jenna.
