Hi Erich, I was wondering if you are still interested in this topic. I am looking to start some art classes hopefully in the next month. What is your level in art (painting)? I am Italian but currently living near Zurich - so classes will be either in Italian or English.
I am an artist, have a degree in art history and I am half way through my Masters. My groups will be small as I want to be able to follow my students as much as possible (2, max 3 people). Do you know anybody else also interested?
If you are an Art History lover I can provide Art History classes too - an overview of the History of Art, or specific topics. I specialise on Italian Art: Renaissance and Baroque - artists such as Michelangelo, Leonardo, Caravaggio etc...but can try to accommodate other requirements.
If there is anybody on this forum olso interested in this, please let me know.
The art classes there look interesting!!!!! I'm wondering what sort of level it caters to. I might join the watercolor class if places are still available...
I also have regular events - usually on Saturdays - and I advertise them here: http://www.jartstudiogallery.com/Events.htm . If you are interested, do check the page from time to time for new upcoming events! At the moment I have been busy with normal classes but will update soon!
I have published on my website the new schedule for upcoming workshops (up until the beginning of May 2010); perhaps there is something you’d like to attend.
Please feel free to pass on this info to anybody who you think might be interested in participating.
If you're looking for something of a different nature I offer figure drawing classes as well as experimental painting. www.michellebird.ch . If this appeals please feel free to stop by.
I organize art events such as tours, art history discussions, panels about various issues in art and society, and artsy networking events in and around Zurich and can suggest some art classes too (contact me personally if you are still interested.)
Hi, im interested in some painting classes, and a place where i can practice some figure drawing if anyone can suggest something i would really appreciate it! thanks!
An English woman named Bridget Wilkin holds art classes and open studio time out in Egg, although it is easily accessible by the s18. Her website is http://www.bridgetwilkinart.com/ .
I have no affiliation with Bridget other than being a patron, but I do have one vested interest-she is trying to hold a workshop next Tuesday creating an acrylic and tissue paper collage, but she needs a few more sign-ups before she can move forward. I really want to take the class, so I want more people to sign up for it!
If you’re looking for art courses for adults in Zurich, there are many great options! For painting, schools like Kunstschule offer classes for beginners and advanced artists. If you’re interested in architecture, Zurich University of the Arts (ZHDK) has programs that mix learning and practice. For music, there are schools that offer courses in different styles, from classical to modern. Zurich has a lot of opportunities for adults to learn and enjoy art, so check out local listings or visit the websites of these schools to find the best course for you!
