Anyone know any good Tattoo parlors?

I'm looking for a place to get a tattoo done. Does anybody know of somewhere either here in Switzerland or in Belgium/ the Netherlands. I'm not 18 yet, so that is the first requirement. And I'd also like to have it done at a place where I won't pick up 17.8 infections or drain my college savings.

Thanks for your help.

Hi

If you tell me what style of tattoo you want to get ,i can recommend many

Most artists charge from 200 to 250 an hour .The thing you don't want to chose your tattoo artist by is how little you can pay ,as you will be looking at their work for the rest of your life .

Hi there. Thanks! Yeah, no that totally makes sense. I can't tell you exactly. Because it's the best idea for a tattoo that there ever was, and I don't want it to get stolen. But, three words of writing (in cursive- but like a cute cursive, not a super fancy cursive) on the inside of my foot (toward the heel). Maybe in total the size of my thumb or something.

Your skin is a beautiful organ, why do you want to make it ugly?

Two fifty an hour? Who are these guys, Lawyers?!! No wonder there is a tattoo parlour on every block. And as far as the underage foot tattoo goes, "best idea eva'!" Wait a bit, word tattoos fade in significance over time and the skin down there isn't the best place for longevity. I understand you are young and enthusiastic but wait a bit you might not feel the same about it in six months. ....aaaaand you can do stick and poke with your friends for practically nothing!

Here is a suggestion, why not use a felt marker and save yourself the embarrassment when you are all grown up.

Some of the Migros Disney sticker packets contain Tattoos.

You put them on your arm (or foot) and wet them with a sponge.

They last for days (if you're like my sons who don't wash much).

They had ones with planes and cars on but I'm sure there are ones with princesses and pink ponies on for girls like the OP.

And anyway, the OP has missed the boat. Tattoos are so 2005.

No-one is getting them any more. It's much cooler not to have one.

Previously they were in fashion around 1800 so if they wait another 200 odd years, and then have one, you'll be hip and cool.

Hi ... I got mine at Ethno Tattoo in Lausanne. The guy who did my tattoo was very nice. It was my first and he made me feel comfortable.

If you do get one done, I seriously suggest you take a dictionary with you as well.

Be careful where you go to in Belgium or you may end up with a face like this.

Tattoos......... a great idea at the time !!!

...but you're not even 18, so I won't even try to tell you.

I know of several, very good artists, all in the Zurich area. I will have to find links, or you can pm me directly for their contact information, as we can't post phone numbers on here. I don't know if English is necessary, but most of the contacts I have will speak English as well.

..Or these

As you are saying you're not yet 18 - I suggest you take the photo or drawing of your design, and hang it on your bathroom mirror, where you can see it, every day, for at least a year. (Yes, it seems like a long time when you are excited about your ink - but a year is a lot shorter than a life time) If you still like the design in a year, and the meaning is the same... then start researching your artists. Look at other people around you and find someone who has ink you like, and ask them for their artist. Don't go by pictures or a catalogue, designs vary and so will the skill, ability to shade, etc. Reputation and actual proof are worth it. And never forget when it comes to Tattoos - you get what you pay for. If you go cheap, it'll look it. You go expensive, there's a reason the artist gets what they do, and then you'll have art that lasts the lifetime. You're letting someone put a mark on your body that you'll have for the rest of your life.

I have 3 tattoos and I just cannot believe some one would fall asleep whilst getting a tattoo.

Keep in mind that since you are less than 18 yrs. old, most (reputable) tattoo parlors in CH will give you a form and ask that it be signed by your parents. This might be a bit difficult since you are here as an exchange student.

This form is part of a "code of conduct" that many/most of the tattoo parlors follow.

Ok, so . . . . erm to go against everyone .. . Its on your foot, about 2inch big. .. if you dont like it in 10 years time its not the end of the world!

(Put on socks )

But you should certainly wait till you are at least 18... I think that is a must.

Are you in Zurich ?? I will inbox you some links. I don't know any studios that will tattoo under 18s so i think you will have to wait .

The skin on your feet and hands is thin so the ink will come out over years and fade .As for regretting it when you are older ,you won't if its something you are doing for yourself and not for fashion reasons .

As for people that say stuff like "save yourself the embarrassment ".... i would be a lot more embarrassed if i had such a small mind ,and nothing better to do than judge people on how they look.
