Hiya, I'm from Ireland and I've been to the center in Switzerland where Billy lives a few times. He's the real deal. There is a lot of nonsense written about him mainly by people who have never been to Switzerland and spoken with him or investigated things for themselves. He's responsible for taking over 1500 of the best UFO photographs ever taken, around 600 of which are still surviving in his collection.
It's a very complicated case and most of what you read about him on the internet apart from a few sites is bogus. He was the subject of a smear campaign in the 1980's by a man called Kal Korff who wrote a book calling the case a hoax which became very popular but in recent years it turned out that Korf had a grudge against him and had fabricated his own evidence against Meier for his book , anyway the damage was done and people now think of him as a fraud. Best advice I can give you if you are interested is to get hold of a book called "Light Years" by Gary Kinder, it's a great non biased investigation into the case written in 1987. And the center is open every Sunday for visitors in Schmidruti and there are always people there to answer any questions you might have but Billy keeps himself to himself these days.
The center is called the Semjase Silve Star Center (SSSC) it's purpose is to store and translate he collected writings of Billy which he is still doing to this day.
It's a fascinating case whatever you think about it but it's too far out there for most people to get heir heads around.
You can see a good selection of his photo's here. Keep in mind that these were taken in the 1970's and with one arm and no one as ever come forward to say that they helped him and that he was under constant scrutiny for the years this occurred and actually still is. If you have any other questions fire away.
The impression I get whenever I read or hear what Billy Meier has to say is that he is honest, that is he believes what he tells us, based on his own experiences. Two people (in Zürich) who I trust implicitly and who I've known for years have told me that they have each sighted a UFO. One of therm is a quite normal housewife who saw a moving object in the day sky stand instantly still before moving off in another direction at remarkable speed. The other, also a normal woman, saw lights hovering above her back garden before dawn but was unable to judge how large or far away they were before vanishing.
But UFO's exist Slammer took this photo a while back and I swear it is true. I was riding on the pig without a care in the world when suddenly the engine died and I found myself floating. When I woke up I had a headache and remember hoping that the pain in my Arsch was just a hemorrhoid.
Schmidrüti? Fifteen years ago you couldn't discuss this small town up high in the Zürcher Oberland without raising attention to yourself. Schmidrüti was also called "Stellung ZH" in military parlance. It was a Bloodhound ground to air missile site and although (obviously) no missiles were ever launched, the whole BL64 program (the year of the fiscal procurement) was one of the best kept classified projects undertaken by the Swiss military.
Since the disbandment of the missile force after 1999, the Schmidrüti site has been suggested as being an asylum center or refugees although this was vehemently opposed by the locals. The area itself is very attractive, lots of forest and great views all around. Ideal for a missile base actually.
So this guy has an extensive exclusive photography collection and he's the only one who keeps seeing the ufos? He's the lucky guy who keeps being in the right place at the right time? Pardon me if i am sceptical....
Talk to me about repeated group sightings, and i would love to hear more.
There are over 30 other witnesses and at least 5 other people who photographed objects. There was an extensive investigation done in the 1970s by Col.Wendelle Stevens who spent almost 6 years in total on the case including many months on site with Meier. No one bothers to take his work into account any more because of the book by kal korff that I mentioned before that turned out to be fraudulent and other attacks on his character by people with their own vested interests . You can tell by some of the posts here that it is viewed as nonsense, this is usually the case with most people who know nothing about it. Most of Billys pictures are in the public domain now. He does have a private collection that is not shown to the public for his own reasons. Its not possible to explain in a few lines what it has taken me 5 years of my own research and multiple trips to Switzerland to figure out. Anyone living near Zurich can get to Schmidruti in half an hour and investigate it for themselves. Best not to believe anything and do your own research. Thats Billys own advice.
It seems to me that if this were the real deal that there would be more people than just him with photographic evidence by now, especially since everybody has a camera on their phone.
As I said there are at least 5 other people who photographed objects while they were with Meier. He hasn't taken any photographs since the 1980's as since then it has become too easy to manipulate images by computer. Most of Meier's photographs were taken with a 1972 olympus 35mm ECR Rangefinder. His earliest photographs though were taken in 1964 his last were taken in 1981.
Ha! It certainly is... but I prefer to find out things out for myself in person rather than believe the crowd who may not have left the armchair to investigate. (not implying you, just a general statement) It's much more interesting that way also.
Have you been to the place in Interlacken yet? I have heard about it but forget what its called, not been there yet.
I think David Icke is involved somehow, it's some center/museum of sorts with a collection of mysteries and various interesting out of the norm stuff, so I hear.
