Billy Meier... Hoax ?

Well theres believers, non believers and those with an open mind.

It would be naive and somewhat scary to be believe we are the only planet in the whole universe with life. For me, that is not possible.

The question is whether that life visits or has visited here. The answer is, we do not know. Do some people know? Who knows?! Some think they do.

There is a lot of stuff that suggest it might have, there is a lot of stuff to debunk those claims also. Then there is a lot that is not explained at all.

The issue I have is people blankly calling bullshit when they do not know. I do not know sure, but they do know the opposite either. I guess they sit in the camp of show me hard evidence and are skeptical which is understandable and I sit in the camp of wanting to believe and having an open mind to the hundreds of thousands of testimonies whom I like to believe at least 1 is telling the truth, which is all that matters.

No one is denying anyone an opinion, and if that opinion is bullshit, then fine, my opinion is naive of them, they're opinion of me is nutter.

Ok, the cycle goes on.

But there is a hell of a lot of money, and disinformation, and layers to prevent the nutters knowing whether their beliefs are real. That in itself is intriguing to me. But of course, thats just national security to protect national interests from the threat of other nations, which again is plausible also.

The cycle goes on.

Open mind? On the interwebs? Are you nuts?

Some might say so

It's a bit like that yes, any christian who says that Islam is wrong should know something about the Koran and any atheist saying the bible is nonsense should be able to say why. You can't have an opinion on something of you don't know anything about it.. if you do it's not based on anything but preconceived ideas which may or may not be relevant to the subject.

Either you are skimming through something and making assumptions about what happened or you are reading a badly paraphrased version of events that I don't remember seeing anywhere in the links I sent you.

There is much more to the story than that. Meier didn't just happen upon the cave, Isa Rashid was not a Palestinian farmer he was a Greek orthadox priest who had studied Aramaic, he was killed in a bombing raid on a refugee camp, he wasn't singled out... I can't read the stuff for you. Do with it what you will. I'm done.

Are the Meier supporters in agreement that the above information, taken from Billy Meier's own website is correct??

Is there anything you don't believe?

What about the Rael Movement or Ashtar Command?

Tell us about the actions that have to be taken to reduce world population to 529 Millions.

I don't know anything about ashtar or rael except that they claim to channel aliens and have absolutely no evidence to back it up. I don't believe in channeling. FIGU'S advice on reducing the population is through birth control.

As for the other info, it's not from Figu's website, it's paraphrased from other websites. Meier claims he's the only one in contact with a race called the Plejaran and he's the only one with any evidence to show that he is. I've already responded to the rest of that before.

I don't "believe" in anything, I prefer to say I know or I don't know. I don't know if what Meier says is true about his lineage as a prophet teacher whose spirit form has done this job 6 times before but I do know that the photos he took of the Craft are genuine because of extensive analysis by Nippon and JPL Nasa among others that stated their authenticity in the 1980's so I have to figure out why a race of beings let him take almost 2000 pictures of their ships and look at the message he claims he was given by them.

Also I know it's genuine because I've investigated the photographic sites myself and spoken to other witnesses, seen photographs from other photographers of the same ships, and I've met Billy himself and spoken with most of the core group at the center in Switzerland on a number of occasions. I've also read hundreds of pages of scientific information that was published by Billy that was only discovered by our science months and years later.

I can't prove everything that he says but given the weight of evidence I have to look at the information about the nature of the universe given to him by these so called Plejaran and take it into consideration.

Uuupps...you don't believe in channeling? There is plenty of evidence, according to other sources. You should investigate and read everything written by the Raelians and Ashtar. They have plenty of material to backup what they claim. Or in your words:

"You can't have an opinion on something of you don't know anything about it.. if you do it's not based on anything but preconceived ideas which may or may not be relevant to the subject."

And yes, the photos maybe genuine but what you claim is showing in the photos maybe not.

I've spent more time here than I wanted to. All I'm doing here is doing your thinking for you. Do what you want with the info. The core of the message from Billy is self responsibility. Figure it out for yourself whether there is anything to it or not.

Did that in a couple of seconds. All I can say is it's a pity you spent so much of your time and money coming to Switzerland. You should have gone skiing instead...

My personal opinion on extra-terrestrial life? They exist but all other life forms in this universe are in a similar stage of development to ourselves and hence haven't worked out how to travel to other solar systems (or have only recently discovered how but the distances are so huge they're still on their way).

Hence there are no real UFOs. (Which, incidentally, simply means something unidentified.)

It's getting to hot in here for you?

Let's see what a professional "Ufologist" has to say about BEAM:

http://www.anomalies.net/archive/cni-news/CNI.0227.html

or another, Jacques Vallée

http://ufoprophet.blogspot.ch/2012/0...astc2c-am.html

These are people who investigated for decades and believe in UFOs visting earth.

This photo was also taken before photoshop and determined by experts to be real. Just sayin'...

I agree

In this case you are in the "believer" fraction here. I see myself in the "open minded"/"I don't know" section on this matter.

This question might be the interesting/important one for you. Science is much more concerned and excited about streambeds on the Mars and clearly more involved in question raised before this one. This would of course be different if there was reliable evidence here on earth and I am sure most true scientists would welcome such evidence with open arms. If possible evidence however "magically disappears" it is difficult to make neutral analysis and peer review as required by scientific standards.

I can understand and accept this kind of world view and I have absolutely no problem with people who can say "I don't know, but I believe" . Unfortunately many people who are interested in these fields are not like you and want to be a moral, spiritual or scientific authority. Not only do they claim that things are "facts" which are by any scientific standard just claims, but they also start their own little pseudo-scientific areas and try to lower the standards for scientific methods.

This might be why many people react quite harsh on anybody who does not distance themselves from these topics clearly. I think that most people do however not condemn people who do not try to alter scientific methods or convince everybody, but only state their believes - whether the believes are of religious nature or not.

You have not heard about it and have completely forgotten about it because that was meant to happen. It's actualy a hidden UFO base. They have a machine that causes anyone without the proper badge to forget about the place (after they have left of course).

ENTERING AND LEAVING UFO BASE: PROCEEDURE

first shock...

identification chip inserted into brain

hand in badges (and any valuables)

then memory loss

then back to N O R M A L (or so it seems)

if memory comes back?

then you will be branded in media as a mad man

and quietly liquidated

If you survive?

then keep your mouth shut

Are you serious? So every believer in every religion has to be familiar with all the others before being allowed to profess their own beliefs? Why on earth would you think such a thing?

The only situation in which that might hold would be if I were trying to convince someone of the error of their beliefs, but as an avid non-believer in fairies (for example) I feel perfectly qualified to say "No, there are no fairies at the bottom of the garden" without any need to know why some people might think otherwise. And just because someone may have a book of fairy stories doesn't somehow require that I read them all before reaching such a conclusion.

It's not too hot, I just have other things to do than do research for others that should be able to do for themselves.

That professional ufologist is using Kal korffs book to disprove the Meier case, Korff was recently discovered to have falsified the photos he used in his book to discredit Meier, the artist that korff paid to airbrush suspension lines into Meiers photographs came forward a few years ago and publicly apologised to Meier in an open letter. Korffs is a certified lunatic with a grudge long standing grudge against Meier which had only recently become clear. Stanton Friedman knows nothing in reality about the Meier case.

As for Jaquess Vallee. He based his assumption on a piece of film 8mm that he was told was cut and edited, the original unedited film has also surfaced so his theories are now irrelevant also. His views on the photographs are based in visual inspection only , he did not do any analysis on the photographs whatsoever.

Wendelle Stephens however had multiple laboratories and image processing specialists analyse Meiers original photographs and none of them detected any trace of trickery and although they would not say the pictures depicted alien Craft they all said they depicted large objects at distance from the camera.

I said nothing of the sort, I said if you say something that someone else believes is wrong then you should know something about their belief.

Try thinking about what you are reading before replying.
