since this turned into a general foreign intelligent life debate, i would still be curious to hear what you have to say and what makes you so sure of it?
I still have difficulty in accepting what I saw, although it was not so weird, as far as UFO sightings go. I just have problems accepting the fact that it was something that I could not explain.
The second time, I was in another city, in broad daylight, with many people around me, and I was not the first one to notice the strange object in the sky.
FIGU is the organization dedicated to the teachings of his alleged extra-terrestrial contacts, the Plejaren. Some people have described FIGU as a cult. I am not sure if FIGU fits the technical description of a cult, but it certainly has elements of an organized religious institution to it.
Membership into FIGU is a two-step process. First you need to be a “Passive Member” for at least two years. Passive Membership requires : Subscription to Quarterly Newsletter: SFr. 75.00 ($98.00) If you live in Switzerland. The cost is higher in other parts of the world.
Annual Membership Fee: SFr. 30.00 ($39.00)
One-Time Application Fee: SFr. 30.00 ($39.00)
Mandatory Annual Contribution of 7% of One Month’s Salary .
Obligation to work 3 full days annually at the FIGU Center in Switzerland. For each work day not performed at the Center, a further contribution of SFr. 70.00 ($91.00) /per non-working day (with a total of SFr. 210.00 ($274.00) for 3 non-working days).
Must attend at least one Annual Passive Group General Assembly at FIGU in Switzerland.
That comes to a total of SFr. 345.00 ($450.00) , plus Annual Contribution and travel to FIGU. That’s just for the “Passive Membership”. Here is what is required for Full Membership : Minimum Annual Fee: SFr. 250.00 ($326.00)
Registration ID: SFr. 30.00 ($39.00)
Subscription To Quarterly Magazine: SFr. 204.00 ($266.00) If you live in Switzerland.
For an annual cost of SFr. 484.00 ($631.00) “the patronage is entitled to no say in FIGU matters, just to participate in core group of 49 - and to participate in the passive group-meetings. However, patrons have no voting rights.” [English Translation ]
Meier claims that he is the only person who has been contacted by extra-terrestrials on Earth. He also claims to be the seventh incarnation of the “prophet” connecting Earth to the Plejaren. The first incarnation was Henoch around 11,000 years ago followed by Elijah around 2,800 years ago, then Isiah, Jeremiah, and Jmmanuel (aka Jesus Christ) around 2,000 years ago, and then Mohammed around 1,400 years ago. Yes, Billy Meier claims to be the reincarnation of both Jesus Christ and Mohammed . For more information regarding the Plejaren’s history of the universe please watch this video which includes information such as that the Earth started to be formed 646 Billion years ago and that there were originally 40,353,607 different human races in 343 different skin colors and that apes actually descended from human beings.
I can't possibly regurgitate hours upon hours of reading, watching and research on here.
For as much interesting info out there, there is equally efforts to debunk each and everything thats out there also.
The Disclosure Project is one example whereby 100s of witnesses of ex US military, specials ops, FBI, various intelligence agencies etc etc of personnel had been gather by a Dr Greer to hold a conference to disclose. He claimed he had 100's of witnesses and testimonies. These people were prepared to, under oath, testify to the strange things they had encountered and worked on and were convinced, despite working for the Government, that they had seen things and knew things, and discuss some of them in the conference with the goal of promoting full disclosure.
Dr Greer himself though has come under scrutiny recently for some of the things he has tried to claim with seemingly bogus material being put out there as he has pushed his agenda.
A number of astronauts themselves have disclosed information prior to their deaths of what they had encountered in their work.
Two things mainly occupy my mindset on this though. One being the historical use of references, depictions, drawings and writings from the first civilisations discovered, to ancient egypt to modern day of things coming from the skies, analogies to flying birds with fire from their wings, magic carpets 60 miles long carrying people, flying in the skies and depictions of beings not like us repeated time and again. Steeming from each corner of the world. Why?
The other huge question mark for me is the efforts, money, and cover ups invested in maintaining completely secretive operations in terms of black op projects, project blue book, and the likes of area 51 and whatever they do down there as well as the various other questionable practices and incidents.
So, no, I can't be sure of anything, and no I can't prove anything, but there is enough question marks and intrigue to my mind to not dismiss any notion of UFOs or ET life simply as bull $hit.
Speaking as a passive member myself It costs me less than a gym membership to support the work that FIGU do in Switzerland, work that I consider most important to humanity and also benefits me much more than any gym workout could ever do. FIGU is a non profit organisation, at the passive members meeting every year the accounts are printed out and given to all passive members attending so all can see what monies have been spent on whatever.
A lot of the money is spent on professional translation services which are extremely expensive. The goblet of truth which is a very large book took a number of years to translate correctly because of the unusual way in which Billy writes which would take too long to explain here. The book once finished was published freely on pdf for the public on their website. Any money collected by FIGU goes into supporting the center which is jointly owned by the members of FIGU themselves, Billy is a part owner just like the rest of them. There is a maximum of 49 people in the core group of the center, there will never be any more than this.
Most passive members attend the meeting once a year in order to connect with others from around the world who are interested in supporting the work of FIGU and Billy and to experience the atmosphere at the center itself which is quite unique. Attending the meetings is encouraged for these reasons and also means that you don't have to pay anything else in order to support the center as you can help out with the upkeep while you are there, so excluding my flights to Zuich it costs me about 250 euros a year which i think is fine considering the work that these people are doing solidly with a huge commitment for the last 40 years.
As I said it's cheaper than a gym membership and much better for me as far as I
m concerned.
In regards to why people think this is real, I spent 5 years reading through material most of which is freely available on the internet and then spent several trips to Switzerland investigation the sites where Meier took photographs himself and saw for myself the reality of it. I met and spoke with the people involved, met Billy himself and saw the photographs he has at the center. I spoke to many others from all walks of life and from all over the world who have experienced things at the center themselves and seen things for their own eyes.
I have nothing to say to people who rely on making their judgements by clicking on a link to a website that hs a vested interest in debunking Meier and have been caught out making false claims about him.
The claims against Meiers evidence amount to this- There are around 600 surviving photographs fro Meiers collection, there are around 5 photographs that are singled out for evidence of fakery, these are part of a series that Meier has stated since the 1980's to have been tampered with, Meier repeatedly had photgraphs stolen from him by numerous methods in the 1970's and 1980's, during the investigation conducted by Wendelle Stephens, he himself was witness to this when photographs he had taken as part of his investigation went missing also. It is these 5 photgraphs that are repeatedly singled out while the hundreds of others are ignored, also ignored is the informtion given to Meier over the last 60 years by his contacts which has repeatedly been shown to be accurate knowledge of things unknown to science at the time.
No one has been able to recreate Meiers photgraphs and been able to stand up to the same scrutiny in over 40 years. Many have tried and failed. The latest in the line up of attempts was Phil Langdon from England who actually did a really good job of recreating the look of the photographs but my own last trip to Switzerland proved that his method of setting up the shots was impossible in the locations Meier used, Langdon also refuses to have his photographs tested in the way Meiers was as he knows they will be shown to be small models close to the camera while Meiers consistantly showed large objects at distance from camera, proved by Nippon in Japan who analysed his oroginal photographs in the 1980's.
You don't have to pay anything to read about Meier, you don't have to support the center and become a passive member if you don't want to, Meier's only concern is getting as much information down before he passes on and yes he claims that the spirit form that inhabits his current body has done this before many times and has been in the job of prophet (which only means teacher) trying to get a message to humanity about the nature of creation and the observance of the natural laws of the universe. This message has been corrupted time after time and formed into the garbled religions we have today, this is his last time around to do this, the difference being that now we live in an age where the message can be kept in it's uncorrupted entirety through the work of FIGU and digital and printed media.
Anyway... as I said before anyone living in the vicinity of Zurich can check it out for themselves, he's right on your doorstep. Maybe try doing your own research and reading about what he is saying instead of braying like sheep and shouting bullshit without knowng the slightest thing about the man.
Most of what Billy Meier has written is available here for free at www.futureofmankind.co.uk
This is Michael Horns documentary on Billy Meier
This is the original 1980's investigation by Wendelle Stephens (semi dramatised version)
also before you insult people by calling them sheep, realize the burden of proof is on you when you bring up fringe beleifs.

I could go on but that should keep you going for a few years.
i have already found quite a bit of conflicting information, but to each his own...
We do not all buy into ufology. The same as we do not all buy into the huge holes given in explanations by government and science to likes of evolution, or 1,000's of people witnessing certain things in the skies at the exact same time from different locations.
Or the thousands of testimonies from pilots, many also from the military also once the efforts to ban them doing so were thrown out, regarding the vehicles they have seen and encountered up there, defying what we are aware of. I find it interesting thousands will tell the same lie, with similar specific details at the same time.
But using your words, can you prove this contradiction?
lucky for him that he was with a palestinian friend who spoke aramaic. palestinians speak aramaic? this simple palestinian farmer had such a grasp of ancient aramaic that he could easily translate an old document?
unfortunately the government suspected the presence of this document and bombed the camp leaving no trace. what government? couldnt they just kidnap him and steal the dicument if it was so important? why destroy it? if they were set on destroying it why have they not killed billy too and seized the translation? so there was an eyewitness but he was killed. okay...
He basically said how about doing some research into the man and his work before defaulting to the bull $hit position on anything that encroaches this topic.
His use of the words "instead of braying like sheep", were used in my opinion not to imply those who do not subscribe to such things as sheep, or with a sheep mentality of following the norm, but in response to those who just default to calling all such topics as rubbish without ever having invested anytime in researching and looking into the various unexplained and questionable phenomena.
On the basis the OP started this thread for information on Billy Meier, the poster you are baiting has actually provided the most detailed and factual information for the OP.
I always love the way believers expect a non-believer to go away and research the subject before they're allowed an opinion. Bit like telling an atheist to go and read the bible before declaring that there is no god, or indeed expecting a christian to read the koran before saying that islam is all wrong.
