I am from Africa precisely Cameroon.I was taught from childhood to have shower 3times a day or atleast twice a day.I was told that it was a sanitation rule imposed by the colonial masters(France & Britain).when i moved to Switzerland,i notice alot of folks here don't shower for days.So i decided to do a little research on why Africans to be exact;Cameroonians had to shower at least twice a day.
These are the two reasons:
1)The colonial masters thought,the dark skin folks are dark because they were dirty so the more shower they should have the more lighter their skin colour will be.
2)From scientific and hygenic view,it has alot to do with the humidity and hotness of our climate.

UK people generally bathe at least once a day... are we are not known for bad hygiene, only poor teeth.
