On sale again at
https://www.my-store.ch/en/ until Thrusday, January 7th.
It's that time of year again.
Very happy that I bought my North Face Mcmurdo down jacket last year, it has kept me super warm and cosy in very cold weather. I would never buy a Canada Goose one... I hate that crass red stamp on the arm and everyone has one that all look almost identical. Ugh, a proper sheeple jacket.
Plus, unless you are going to Antarctica you do not need a real fur-lined hood, and while I am no animal activist I really don't agree with trapping coyotes for fashion, it is simply inhumane.
You must be the first person who has been able to purchase an unbranded, non-logo, unique coat/jacket ... congratulations!
Unbranded and unique it is most certainly not, but I have only seen another one once or twice, and never in the same colour. If I had a Canada Goose I would see about 10 people wearing exactly zthe same jacket per day.
At least you'll stand out in a crowd, if their was any remaining doubt
I was close to buying a CG jacket when i was in Iceland in April. I didnt because they didnt have my size. I needed a new jacket though, so i got a nice one from Cintamani. Its nice and warm and a third of the price but not warm enough. But im the kind of person who would wear a heater if i could. So im thinking of splurging and getting one next trip.
Thanks for the North Face tips, i will have a look for those as well.
I also dont care that you look like you are about to ride a dog sled in Antartica. I tried to buy stuff that look nice and stylish, but i fail everytime and look ridiculous. No idea how other women do it. So i gave up and dress for practicality now.
