Otherwise, Beyond is my favourite Chinese restaurant in Zürich.
Though, I recently tried Suan Long in Enge, and was rather surprised at how good the food was. There appears to be two sides to the restaurant, with (apparently) two different kitchens. If you enter from the main entrance, the left side has the more expensive menu, whilst the right side has a more casual menu. We tried out the left side, and found that the prices were similar to Beyond. Different food to Beyond, but we would definitely go there again. I didn't know that they had dim sum there, so that is a good excuse to go back!
I once bought a couple of meals there, the charge never went through on my credit card, they still used one of those big swish-schwoosh plastic machine to swipe the card.
China Garden near Bahnhofstrasse was replaced by Denners Wine Bar. Much as I love a good wine bar (or even a bad one like this), I do miss the odd service and the sizzling Mongol (dish).
A waitress told us, food on both sides are the same. well, it's quieter and atmosphere better on the left (high-end) side, probably the service is a bit better as well.
Don't forget, the Dim Sum chef is on left on Monday.
'Chopsticks' at the Bahnhof end of the Niederdorfstrasse, nearest Tram stop is Central. It's just a little place but my wife lived in Hong Kong for years and she loves the food here. In fact we were there last night enjoying Steamed Chicken and Salted Fish Fried Rice with Chicken ( ham yu gai lop chow fan )
