Dr Who TV series

Don’t seem to have our old thread about the series so here’s a new one.

On Monday on BBC Four at 9pm GMT and on BBC iPlayer there will be a colourised 90 minute film of Patrick Troughton’s last appearance as the 2nd Doctor. This was the last black and white series; Jon Pertwee’s 3rd Doctor was filmed in colour.

From the sounds of it seems we might be seeing more of the early Doctors being colourised and shown again.

What time is the Doctor Who Christmas Special on Christmas Day?

The Doctor will see you on iPlayer and BBC One from 5.10pm on Christmas Day.

Oh wow! Where is this coming from? The old Dr. Who´s are anything but woke.

They are.

The Daleks have always been gender neutral.

"Russell T Davies, Doctor Who showrunner, said: “From the day I arrived back on Doctor Who, this was the plan - to colourise old stories and bring them back to life.”

I decided to record the Christmas show so as to be sure not to miss it.

But I found it was already on my planned recordings list!
I recoded the last series as a series and it automatically found the Christmas show and added it.

Modern technology is just too damn clever.

Somewhere I have a DVD with all the early Dr Who, it began as a children’s teaching aid and had him visiting historical events and times.

Why 9pm on BBC Four though? Would have been much better on Boxing Day at 5 or 6pm on BBC1.

I’m not sure, some of those Dr Who episodes from the 60s and early 70s were quite scary. I used to have nightmares about one with Giant Ants…

What happened to the Dr. Who thread?
Cant find it anywhere.
Anyway. just forcing myself to watch the wokey-woke gay, black new Doctor Who in the christmas special…

And the freakng Tardis is GREEN!

Is notihing sacred anymore?

Sometimes it is good being colourblind

A green Tardis and a crappy story. I suffered until the last ten minutes then watched a few car Restauration vids.
