Hello Everyone.!!Its nice to find a very helpful site like this.
Anyway, i am planning to work in Switzerland. Its my dream to find a job and got an interest there, since i have relatives leaving in Switzerland.I have nursing diploma earned here in the Philippines. Im learning german since last year and i passed B1 exam. But i believe, my german is not yet enough. I head that B2 is required for Arbeit.but learning higher level of german here is a little difficult, since, i dont have the opportunity to practice the language everyday. I want to purse B2 in Switzerland but i believe it will cost me a lot.Can i apply for a job, so that i have something to support my living there?
Aside from that, i learned that having a foreign diploma is required to be recognized by Swiss Red Cross.
Should i need to be in Switzerland to have my diploma recognized?or can i apply for the recogniton even i am here in the Philippines?
is there a foreign nurse here or anyone who can share me their experiences and help me either. I really appreciate your replies.Have a nice day!
Are you still looking for a job as a nurse in Switzerland? There are plenty of opportunities still hospitals have difficulties filling their job vacancies with Swiss and European staff. Language is important and for German, B2 level is a minimal requirement.
Let me know if you are interested or if you know other nurse colleagues willing to relocate to Switzerland.
Hi, I would like to work in Switzerland and willing to be relocated in Switzerland. I earned my degree in the Philippines. I'm currently on B1 level and maybe next year I will take the B1 level exam in Goethe-Institut.
if you dont have an employer set up and or they are not assisting....I could not imagine trying to do it alone; many of the permit seem subjective at best
If you are Philippine citizen and interested in working in Switzerland as a nurse, pls note that Switzerland has concluded professional trainee exchange agreements with the Philippines (and other countries) in order to enable young professionals trainees to expand their occupational and linguistic skills in Switzerland for a duration up to 18 months.
If you think you meet the requirements defined under the above-mentioned agreement you may then search for an open nurse position in Switzerland using a job search site such as http://www.jobs.ch/ and contact the hospital administration in order to ask them whether they support employment under this agreement or not.
hi Iam a graduate of bachelors degree in muraing in the Philippines and i am currently here. can you help me on how to qork as nursing assistnt or nurse in switzerland?thankyou
It's been two years since i posted this. But just an update, i am already here in Germany and doing a freiwilliges soziales jahr. but the good thing, i already receive a job offer this month in switzerland, in Kanton Wallis. I'll be starting my job in June and still need to wait fir my working permit, which my new employer has just applied. I'll be working at first as pflegeassistent, while waiting for the actual confirmation of my anerkennung, since i already have die Vorprüfung.Hoping to have a fast processing but they said, will take min. 6-8 weeks before i receive this Aufenthaltagenehmigung.
Thanks for the update, please let us know how it goes. I think it would be great for all sides if more nursing staff from the Philippines could live and work in Switzerland, even if "just" under a limited contract.
