Formula 1

Just speculations, like for the past few years.

I’ll believe it when I see it.

No, this is different. This is happening. The way Sky, BBC and F1 journalists are covering it, it is legit. Apparently it will be announced later today.

I’m not sure I can cope with the stress involved with being a Ferrari fan

There’s no point in speculating if some news are coming later today

Well, anyone watched the Daytona 24h last weekend? I bit a few nails in the Porsche VS Cadillac chases.

Bloody hell

I think the memes of Hamilton asking to Ferrari engineers about race strategy will be glorious!

What’s Italian for Hammer Time?

Tempo di martello

‘What’s Italian for Hammer Time?’

Pit…no stay out…no pit…

Well, at least we can be confident that Hamilton wont win another world championship.

  • “Is it Hammer Time?”

  • “We are checking!”

It’s official! Merc have announced on twitter and Insta.

This will be interesting. Expect '24 to be a tough year for Hamilton and Sainz. Mercedes now need an experienced hand. Vettel? Hulk? Ricciardo? Hamilton to Ferrari in the twilight of his career is purely a vanity project and must come with a huge pay packet. There is no way he can make a difference and Ferrari have all their eggs in the Leclerc basket anyway.

I love this guy https://youtu.be/4pcI57pRmWI?si=_pqC8PDZ0eu4WTRj

The timing makes sense now.

Yesterday, Ferrari reported Q4 2023 financial statement and therefore year 2023 numbers.

It’s a damned money printing machine, 38% EBITDA for year 2023. A target of >38% EBITDA for year 2024.

Cherry on the cake was Lewis Hamilton that will help to sell more cars and more merchandise. It’s laughable, but 35-40% of Ferrari’s revenue comes from selling red caps, key chains, flags and other branded stuff.

Can we split this thread from yesterday’s post onwards, into “F1 2024” ???

I’ll rename this one “The formula 1 thread”.

That would be nice. Thanks

I wonder what it could be?
