BWT pink?
Next race is in Las Vegas. Just check the weather and itâs 4°C right now. Itâs a night race, so it will be slippery.
Looks like a new team joining the grid in 2026, GM/Cadillac. The team previously known as Andretti. Donât know what the problem was, but seems like the team has got the green light now Andretti is not involved.
This time Verstappen did fight for the title. Well earned. The guy did not break under the pressure of having a car with some issues in several races. And the driving under rain in Brazil, legit win
Cadillac? This sounds great (pun intended).
I think the issues were Andretti applying for 2025 season and without an engine deal. Now, there seems to be a plan (Ferrari engine for 2 seasons) and then GM delivers and engine.
And marketing matters, itâs better for sales to have a GM team over an Andretti team. Just look at the F1 press release, âgeneral motorsâ is quoted 8 times in the short text.
There was a time when teams were named after a person, but Brawn became Mercedes-Benz, Stewart became Red Bull, Minardi became Toro-Rosso, Sauber becameâŚwhatever is named today. Only reason Ferrari and McLaren are still named after their founders is because thereâs a car company with the same name.
Williams
Ha, the exception. I wouldnât be surprised if it becomes âMcDonalds racingâ sooner than later.
McLaren secured P1 and P2 in the Qatar sprint race and they are now 30 points ahead of Ferrari. They can win the WCC tomorrow.
The difference is now 21 points heading into the final race of the season. I expect some drama in Abu Dhabi.
Just watched the highlights of the Qatar race. Russell lost the pole, mistake from Lando, Perez is almost out.
Good last race of the season. Amazing performance by Lewis and Charles. I hope all of next season is as good as the second half of this season.
Thats the problem when you are in the front row
I once saw a documentary about F1 drivers and they do lots of weight-training specifically for their necks so they can cope with the immense G-forces when cornering.
Think they can probably afford made-to-measure.
F1TV Pro are ending new subscriptions in Switzerland in Austria. Seems if you already subscribe that you can keep it though as long as you auto-renew. Very odd - theyâve not given a reason.
Lewis Hamilton will work with Riccardo Adami at Ferrari in the upcoming season, who was Carlos Sainzâs race engineer.
The FIA in their infinite wisdom have decided to extend the contract with Spa for 5 years so the Belgian Grand Prix is assured but only for three races. Spa isnât a profitable race for the FIA so theyâve put it on the rotating list which is a shame as it is usually one the most interesting races of the season but money is what counts to the FIA.
