Well, you see Richdog, it works like this.

Someone from Switzerland hears about it and joins, someone else from Switzerland hears about it and joins... now there are two profiles from Switzerland there.

Richdog, from Switzerland, hears about it and thinks not to join because there are "only" two profiles from Switzerland but yet if he joined, there would be three!

So then Ms.Could-be-right from Switzerland comes along and sees what? Are there two profiles or three?

If there are still "only" two, she may also not join but if there are three, maybe she will.

I used to belong to a dating group in Florida with meet-ups in different cities on various weekends each month. I can offer that it is true that you're never sure who you're going to meet and what they'll truly be like but really, the same can be said for going to church (as my Nana suggested) or going to the club (as my friends wanted) or simply taking a class (as plenty of "experts" suggest)...

Meanwhile, sometimes the right person is there, looking around the room, wondering who all those odd fish are (and why s/he came)... when s/he COULD be looking at you.

A (very naive) friend of mine met a "guy" on the internet and they chatted and they decided to call. Yes, behind this mask of fun and jokes lies a very deep person. It is really heart warming to see young people eagerly trying to find right partners for a non marital bliss.
