Good Asian restaurants in Zurich city?

Well, there is Zong Hua at Zähringerstrasse.

They serve authentic noodle soups (bowl) with dumplings.

Very good brooth.

It's nothing fancy, but the food is great!

Old Town in Dietikon. Not in the city, but I heard they are moving to Zurich city in May.

Hello, if you consider Oerlikon, then My Kitchen ( https://pl-pl.facebook.com/MyKitchenZurich/ ) is nice and cozy Malaysian restaurant.

I can recommend Singapore Rest near Letzigrund ? Goin there for almost 20 Years now . Laksa Is the best. Or chop stick in niederdorf . This 2 are the best and not so expensive.

Pho vietnam in Langstrasse or the Thai close to Stockerstrasse, it's a tiny place to eat lunch but unfortunately I forgot the name.

Samurai, a Japanese restaurant in Stauffacher, authentic food and reasonably priced, especially the lunch sets

And Nagasui for a quick lunch

I really like Kaimug Box Thai Food (located at Stadelhofen, HB, Löwenstrasse and Albisriederplatz).

It's a chain from Migros, not entirely authentic, but yummy and cheap. A box of fried rice or noodles is 6.50CHF, red curry chicken is 12.50CHF.

Saigon at Selnau, Vietnamese, delicious and met a Vietnamese guy there on the weekend how said it was the most authentic he had found

In the city my favourite is Yens, especially for the sushi, is very fresh! If you want an amazing creamy curry, then go to Asiaway in Oerlikon plus price is great for Zurich!

HATO, Brandschenkestrasse 20,8001 Zurich

Saigon is utterly overpriced and of low quality. The pho is small and mediocre at best and the summer rolls aren't fresh and rather pricey at 6Chf per piece!

And that makes it still way better than Kaimugbox suggested above - literally the worst "Asian" food ever.

Is it just me or does this thread in particular attract users with less than 10 posts to up their accounts to sell stuff?

We love Wesley's kitchen especially for dumplings and Lily's for a good mix of Asian dishes.

Switzerland has plenty of very fine Restaurants both traditional and International. Just not any from the Asia/Pacific regions

Kokoro and Bimi for japanese

Beyond and Achi for Chinese

I tried a relatively new Vietnamese place in Zurich last weekend. I believe it wasn't mentioned here prominently so far, but deserves to be:

- authtentic

- tasty

- Swiss prices...

Cochinchin is good, I also recommend it!

it looks great, but the prices are insane!

Ban Song Thai for Thai food is highly recommended. Lunch buffet is great too. You absolutely need a reservation for dinner. Their biggest plus - no added sugar in food (sugar is actually a very common ingredient in Thai food) and hence does not spike the blood sugar like crazy. Very important for anyone monitoring their blood sugar.

I would make the effort to go to Pfaffikon Schwyz to savannaketh. Best one I've been too, most of the ones in Zurich are only ok after a few beers when your tastebuds are happy with anything... Savannaketh is five mins walk from the station. Family run.Well worth it.
