Good English speaking Hairdressers in Zurich

Anyone know a cheap men's barber in Zurich? English or German speaking.

cheap in zurich doesnt exist.

that being said i would recommend

http://www.coiffeur-saleh.ch/

close to the HB.

price is around 22CHF for a shave and style.

Found a deal:

Offer 1: CHF 15.- instead of CHF 30.- washing, cutting, styling

Offer 2: CHF 35.- instead of CHF 75.- Complete Care

I can highly recommend Matt at Marco Figaro & Barbiere in Niederdorf. He speaks and understands English very well, he's friendly, and he does a great job! He is pricey, but worth it.

I can recommend Michelle Finemore at The Green Room.

She is British and located in the City (Enge).

Could anyone recommend a good woman's hairdresser in Zurich? Mine has effectively done a bunk. I used to go to Valentino, but looking at their website they seem to have changed somewhat. Does anyone use them or has another salon they are happy with? It does not need to be an English speaking hairdresser. For guidance I expect to pay around CHF 250 for colour, some highlights and cut and blow dry.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Klostersgirl,

I have a great hairdresser/salon in Zurich, Caroline Rohwer, which I highly recommend. I go to Belinda but Caroline, the owner, and Renna are also excellent. Caroline and Belinda are from South Africa and both speak High German and English (as well as Afrikaans if that suits..lol!). I have color (permanent and highlights) and cuts there. The salon is located just above Seefeld near Kreutzplatz. Here is a link to the salon:

Hope this helps!

Thank you so much Terrifisch. This salon looks exactly the type of thing I am looking for. I have exactly the same procedure as you with colour, highlights, cut etc. If you don't mind saying, does that cost around CHF 300.

I will definitely contact the salon. Maybe see you there!

Many thanks

in Höngg. 25 CHF for mens

I would go to the salon for a consultation and tell them you want a few highlights and not a "half head". I believe I paid about CHF 260 for everything but I had a only few highlights applied. The nice thing is that Belinda does not accept tips (not sure about the other stylists but I think that is the salon policy!).

He is good with reasonable prices. Super laid back.

What does " no styling" mean in mens cut " no wash,no styling" ?

130 CHF for an hour from these dumb haircutters! The people who patronize such haircutters are double so dumb!

I think it just means that he is not going to really style your hair as you might to go to work or go out, etc. Meaning, probably no products.

I have just had my hair coloured and cut at Caroline Rohwer by Belinda. I heartily endorse Terrifisch's recommendation. Everything about the salon impressed me and I am very pleased with the care taken with my hair and the end result. If anyone is looking for a great hairdressing salon then I suggest you give them a try. Thank you very much Terrifisch.

The problem is with alot of the mens hairdressers( the cheaper ones ) is that they only know one style of cut-at least for short hair that is. If they have to cut someone with longer hair they are lost

There were men in Caroline Rowher’s yesterday. Why not take your tresses there??

too expensive
