You are missing the point. The world will survive Trump, but crazy narcists are a problem in general. We probably all know or have met at least one. Just like the illegal immigrants, they need to be discouraged. A jail in El Salvador sounds just the place for Donnie.
Yes. AI will tell me what to eat today. AI can do the thinking for me which leaves me time to get on with more pressing matters.
Will it tell you to eat at the Migros City canteen?
I hope not.
Of course not. McDonalds drive thru is the AI way.
The curious issue is that narcissism disorders can end up in depression. So, the narcissist enough may be hired, not the crazy narcissist.
AI systems are prone to issues at all levels. Take Semi automated VAR. An ideal system would have a million cameras, but in real life it is less than that. Still most off side decisions are ripe to be automated. Other decisions require a human and here the Premier League seems to spezialise in getting it wrong. Trivial problem? Depends on the context, not if you were a sub postmaster. Health related AI has huge potential, but like all technologies it needs regulation. Privacy concerns are real but they are not insurmountable.
Last thing I wanted to read: crazy people thinking about using AI to support the operation of existing and design of new nuclear power plants
It’s a bit like commercial aviation. Yes, equipment and methods are not the most modern, simply because it take years to develop a new system/method and thoroughly test it. .
Anyone know how I can get rid of the AI button on my Whatsapp? Am afraid I might accidentally push it.
where do you see such a thing?
In the chat list
can’t see it anywhere in my whatsapp.
“this is only available on a few selected devices around the world”
The first sentence in the video
Enjoy.
Yeh! Read that. So why me?
Have the same problem. Like, I want to remove it! And didn’t find anything about it…
Uninstall whatsapp and use signal instead
Would love to. But I have too many contacts that only use this silly app.

I saw a great quote today:
"Imagine if Ford published a paper saying it was thinking about long term issues of the automobiles it made and one of those issues included “misalignment “Car as an adversary”” and when you asked Ford for clarification the company said “yes, we believe as we make our cars faster and more capable, they may sometimes take actions harmful to human well being” and you say “oh, wow, thanks Ford, but… what do you mean precisely?” and Ford says “well, we cannot rule out the possibility that the car might decide to just start running over crowds of people” and then Ford looks at you and says “this is a long-term research challenge”.
