This morning at chinagarten, I was totally shocked and disgusted with the group of young boys and girls went totally naked running and playing around at the playground and the park. What really shocked me further was these group of young kindergarten kids were brought by two or three teachers to the park. And these teachers allowed them to go around naked!! These teachers supposed to be educating the young children, and should also understand that there are such paedophiles around, and they should keep the kids from such harm. Where is the morale here? I wonder what would the parents feel if they see their kids were running around naked like this??

Get a grip, what is so wrong with young kids being naked? Kids are at way more risk of abuse from family and friends than any stranger they may meet also the kids were supervised so were not going to come to any harm in that situation.
Things are different in Europe or just about any developed country cf. to eg Singapore / parts of Asia where moral values, teachings of the book and so on have been enshrined from a young age.
There are laws to obey here which also provide freedom to some extent. Other things such as moral values are up to the individual to follow or decline.
Over time, as in keeping the peace in your previous thread, you might likely adapt and understand.
I think it's great that this can happen here - please don't turn Switzerland into an over protective nanny state too. Seriously there aren't pedophiles lurking behind every bush, these are kids running around in the nuddy - is that really bad? preserve their innocence
How refreshing. Yes kids in Switzerland are allowed to be kids, play, take (calculated small) risks - wonderful. I wish my grand-children could grow up here.
A few of the badis around Zurich I've noticed have signs up saying children shouldn't be naked but I think that's more aimed at the younger ones prone to leaving a deposit in the paddling pool...

Yes. And this lets kids be kids. And the teachers are around to make sure they can have all the fun they want, while not carrying a care in the world. That's how children should grow, without a care, worry or a fear in the world. Pity that not many places in the world left like this.
My four year old loves to be naked in fact he prefers to be naked all the time.
I have noticed that this is unusual in the village I live in. We had some kindergarten children to visit and they were shocked and thought maybe he was ill.
A German friend told me that it is not normal for Swiss children to play naked. But I think it fine. Obviously I would not let him walk to the local Migros naked but in our back garden I dont have a problem at all.

Kindergarteners. Naked? OMG.....LOL. Seriously, not a big deal. I remember being a bit freaked the first time I was invited to a mixed sauna up in the land of the midnight sun....and, well, I got over it with enough beer. Everyone was was, like, so?
I understand the concern over perverts but, well, those bastards are everywhere and why deprive your child of some perfectly good fun just because there might be some random .001% chance a freak is going to be nearby?
Personally, I've been thrilled at the freedom the schools here have, in spite of some of my discomfort. Kids should have a good time. Screw the press and the paedos. Relax. Have a glass of wine. All is well.

Funny, 2 weekends ago at a Zurich Badi, my 3.5 year old daughter asked if she could take her bottoms off because "they felt prickly."
I told her just for a few minutes (even though she is fully potty trained), as I was unsure how that would be looked upon here.
Within 2 minutes of her frolicking "au naturel," the lifeguard on duty asked me to kindly dress her.
the prickly is the wet swimsuit on bare skin for a long duration.
