After Startrek went really diverse with a gay/bi/whatever Protagonist in „lower decks“ and gay doctor/engineer combo with a touch of non binary in „Discovery“ StarWars has now fulfilled the lesbian dream of a gay couple getting pregnant with twins by using „The Force“ in „Acolyte“
All I want to do is to enjoy just one of my favourite shows without having to suck on the gay tit.
So it’s back to Gene Hunt for some 1970ties balance.

If you don’t like it then don’t watch it.
If you think that you will become gay from watching it then watch a bit of Chuck Norris or something to compensate.
I loved watching Doctor Who as a kid but haven’t seen it since then and don’t feel I’m missing out.
„Just don’t Watch it“ That is a lame and lazy argument akin to: „If you don’t like it here, go back to where you came from“
I want to watch Dr. Who, but I want to watch the timey-wimey-wibbly-wobbly stuff and not a Doctor pining for his male lover. I want space battles with a lot of “pew-pew” and “Woom woom cgrsch” and not kissy-kissy-smooch.
Apart from that if you don’t want to watch the gay stuff then there isn’t much on.

suck it up, It speaks volumes that " the gay stuff" is your complain about storytelling. like they need to justify the existence of “t3h ghey” to be portrayed in the show.

Seriously, though, if you just want a Dr Who series made up of nothing but special effects and flash-bangs, and precious little in the way of plotlines, character development, backstories and basic content I think you’d probably drive the series into the ground after a few episodes.
Also, you seem to be unintentionally (subconsciously?) focusing on nothing but the “kissy-kissy-smooch” bits.
That’s rubbish, there have been some great story lines over the decades. Really deep and well thought out. Highes and lows and they did them without a gay plot but ever since Dr. Who and the others I mentioned went woke the storylines have gradually flatlined to the point where focus has been more on “The Gay” rather on telling a story.
…also it’s hard not to focus on the kissy-kissy-smooch when it is the main part of the story.
Seems kind of narcissistic to need or insert characters into a show just because they have the same sexuality as you.
Here is a think I just had.
In America you get BET, or Black Entertainment Television. Why not have “Rainbow TV… RTV” for short? And dibs on the copyright for the name!
On RTV you get all the best programming for the LBGTWQ whatever community, make your own gay Dr. Who, whatever rocks your tardis and you can leave the Classics watchable for everybody else?
Eh! What? How about that?
Why? Simple solution is not to watch if you don´t like it. It would seem that enough people do like it though.

I hated it as a kid and I haven’t watched it since then either and I really don’t feel as though I’m missing out at all.
I would imagine it would be pretty boring though if they were churning out the same sort if episodes as they were 20 or 30 years ago. Things changes and the show moves with the times, that’s just how life is.
These darn heterosexuals are everywhere 
I know, what´s next? They will be wanting heterosexual TV, guys kissing girls and all that Schweinkram.
