Got a lovely bamboo one through a Chinese friend a couple of weeks ago...other than the size (it really is big, especially for my little hands) I'm loving it
if you are a apple or Samsung devotee and an eco system believer then its probably not worth it and would be indeed a gimmick (probably more Apple then Samsung as Samsung is actually Android).
But if you want a good high end but cheap phone to play with, a phone that can beat Nexus (especially with the latest EXENSIVE Nexus 6) then you should get one.
Keep us posted when it arrives. I'm still debating between the 6Plus and the Note 4.. I'm not particularly married to either platform and this OnePlusOne appears to be somewhere between the 6 and the 6Plus in size, but with the 6Plus vid specs..
I do not think the OP has an invite. For about 90min the purchase on the website was opened for pre-order (without an invite) hence the forum thread from the OP
I was bit late in finding an address to ship when pre-order window was open But now he bought one I guess he can invite others. Otherwise put some light on how this invite system works.
The invite system....I have none to share NOW but will be prepared to share invites as and when I get them - as long as the invitee shares at least one invitation into EF.
Here's their blurb:
INVITES TO SHARE
No invites to share. Once you have purchased a phone you will be assigned sharable invites as we have stock available. Please note that it will happen randomly, not a specific amount of time after buying. You will receive an email when sharable invites are assigned to you.
if you are welling to get something directly from china via aliexpress , then on the 11.11.2014 the website is offering a promotion with 50% sale on many phones including the one plus. have a look here this would bring the device believed to $189.99.
I didnt know singles day was being extended that much across aliexpress, thanks for the heads up. Hopefully the Vivo will be reduced as its the one I really want
