Just started a new project. I found a picture of an Art Deco gate that I like and have started to translate it to something I can cut out an build in the dragblade plotter.
Somehow I find the geometric design calming.

Oooo! They are nice, been looking at US elevator doors, especially the Empire state and Chrysler building.
True, true, I was at Publicis HQ in NY, and I was truly shocked – the whole building, dating back to the ‘gilded era’ was pure opulent art deco – restored to the original, and truly spectacular – from the floors, to the massive lamps and the elevators - truly incredible.

my teenager times hobby was electronics, I was making tons of circuits (hand made boards, pained with the varnish, treated by UV, etc), also repairing these old radio and TV sets all around my neighborhood… but then my life changed to a “rich homeless” style so I moved to only beer, books, and computer games (sorts of anything which didn’t require possessing more than a travel suitcase), fast forward that’s still my life ![]()
To be honest with myself, I am still struggling with not being able to do that anymore.
