I came very close to buying a season pass last year, really really glad I didn't!! ended up only going a couple of times.
to be fair we only go if the conditions are perfect, nice sunny day and fresh dump of snow the previous day /night.
I think exactly in the same way
There's no sense to go if it's foggy or windy....or you want just to stay in bed
Get yourself a skicard here. You can preload the skipass online for most resorts, this will save you time queueing. The website sometimes offers 20% on discount for a day pass for certain resorts, or checkout the promotions for other discounts. http://ski.ticketcorner.ch/eventstore/control/home
Often the best days have started foggy, if the sky clears then its perfect. Its actually very good for technique to ski in poor conditions.
This one seems quite good, thanks.
Have you already tried it?
What about the physical skipass?
I'm a snowboarder.
I agree with you that if you are lucky after the fog there's nobody
A further plus is that the queues are a lot shorter on the foggier days.
The actual ski pass is just a normal radio/magnet tagged ski pass with ticket corner written on it.
I originally got one on a really good promotion with credit for ski passesfrom Credit Suisse credit card points. But even without this offer they are worth getting.
They had the occasional offer last year for 20% for certain resorts. But to get a discount on all reosrts you will have to use one of their "promotions" and spend some money at Tchibo or join ski club (50CHF per annum). Should pay itself off though since many reosrt then have a 20% discount , which usually = 10-12CHF
The main thing is the convenience of not queueing though.
You can get season passes that cover a number of resorts I think
Any interesting offers at the moment on the season ski pass front? (Living in canton Zug)
