Please advise where I can urgently get a Office for Mac, Home and Student, English edition, 2011?
The shops in Zurich only retail German versions.
The Microsoft store online does not post to buyers domiciled in Switzerland and you can't even use a UK credit card and get it delivered to a UK address for example, because it picks up you are accessing the site via Switzerland.
Please advise???

Why pay if you can have it for free and legal? Consider/Try
Open Office It does all Office does and maybe more, works fine for me since 2 years now.
Available for Windows and Mac here .
Ebay, amazon and gumtree have to come from UK and I want it sooner if possible.

You could always buy the licence off Ebay (get the seller to send you the key by email) and then simply download a version off a torrent site and use your already purchased key to activate.
@CASTRO - yes, I saw that method mentioned on one of the gumtree ads, but wasn't sure it really works....but with your confirmation I assume now it does.
Then Open Office is what you need, download it and use it this evening.
It takes a few hours to get use to but its all very familiar , the main things works the same like the official office do.
The help section on it is brilliant, i now refuse to pay money for Office as the free software does it all for me, and its legal, no strings attached.

I think I can buy it for you (genuine licence, unopened, never activated, with DVD, etc...).
It will be a "HUP" licence, which means I buy it cheaper than retail, but everything is Genuine and will be new.

Macoffice english home and student is available in Orell Fussli in zurich on the top floor. I saw it there yesterday for 149 CHF.
I tried open office on a PC and MAC and found it to be annoyingly slow. It is free but sometimes you do get what you pay for. Believe me, if it was good i would use it...I hate paying inflated prices for any software.

Great, if you are computing students, you can get those free sometimes (Microsoft office licences)

At least now I know where to pickup a real copy locally in Zurich if need be.
