I know at least one person who was helped find a job using RAV. I think perhaps we should not over-generalise
Well I take it that you have a chip on your shoulder.
The RAV are very good at what they do and manage to get more people a job than any other agency in Switzerland. Furthermore, nearly everybody I know who has had to visit the RAV has managed to get a language course out of them and I mean everyone...
yes, generalisations are not optimal, i know too some dudes who got a job from them but considering the huge amount of money and ressources the RAV administrates, it's success rate is a near insignificant.
Since this thread is still alive. Anyone know about acceptability for overseas qualified ( Non EU) postgraduate doctors( Specialists),in Switzerland. Can I get a job even a a poorly paid one? I applied only once and was told that there was a 2 year waiting list and I have to have a degree in French!!! I lost heart after that!! I believe there are surplus doctors in Switzerland or so I have been told.
Hmm, I paid all my taxes/insurances for almost eight years then left CH when I quit my job. If I were ever to come back (with a new permit) does that mean I'd be instantly eligible for benefits should I find myself unemployed before the usual paying-in threshold for benefits?
I'd assumed that I'd given all future entitlement up when I handed the C permit in.....
No. She's a bitter and twisted old bag by the sounds of it......I'd say her american boyfriend didn't give enough of a McToss about her when she was there which is why she's back in the land of the permanently serious being a complete McTwat to you!
There's a saying where I come from: Don't let the bastards get you down!
I'll second that.
I'll kick off with a link to Recognition / Swiss ENIC
and according to where your degree was gained, contacts
