Is it even required, because I have already an app with EU Covid certificate?
Has anyone gone through process of requesting and receiving Swiss Covid Certificate, when you were vaccinated in EU country with approved vaccine? I wait already 4 days on Swiss Covid certificate being pushed to Swiss Covid Cert app.
I don‘t think you can get a Swiss Pass without being vaxxed here.
But EU and UK ones are accepted if they can scan a QR code...
My OH and I were vaccinated in the US with the J&J vaccine and we filled out a form via Kanton Zurich:

Cursor down to the "Im Ausland Geimpfte" and fill out the form. Note to include your passport and residency card as well as proof of vaccination. It took about 2 weeks to process before we received the Swiss Pass.
apparently you can actually, but I don't think that anything will be 'pushed to the app', I had to scan mine manually.

I used the same form as @terrifisch advised. Uploaded PDF with prove of vaccination in EU country. I entered the code that was generated in the Covid Cert app. I selected delivery method of the cert to my app.

You can. Weird thing is, the approved list is smaller than that for coming into the country without quarantining, so it seems that the UK vaxxed (with AZ) are shut out.
The Swiss ones are not pushed either. You need to scan the code of your vaccine or test certificate...

I was vaccinated in April at Luzern Kantonspital, and have a digital certificate through the LUKS app, but also have this version which is only valid along with proof of identity.
I then downloaded the COVID Certificate Switzerland app, scanned the QR Code and keep it there too.
Also we were chatting with the barman on Saturday and he tried scanning my UK NHS app and it shows as 'invalid certificate' on the new Swiss checker app but was fine previously when scanned for a bar access to Langestrasse a few weeks ago.
So it'll probably come down to them reading the app (which clearly says 'Fully vaccinated') or only relying on the scanner to allow entry.
Otherwise its also get a 3rd jab here under my Swiss insurance and then apply for the Swiss cert. Guess we'll see this week.
They’ll need to find a way to recognise these or no tourists will be able to do anything!
Yeah I guess it'll depend how folks are in terms of relying on purely the checker app - if they actually look at my app it clearly shows im double jabbed and you can see both vaccination dates and has been sufficient to come into the country fine for months.
Seems a bit silly to then limit that for a restaurant but I guess these things will get fleshed out over the next days/weeks.

Oh Indeed. It was enough to scan QR code from EU COVID certificate with Swiss Covid Cert app. I have the Swiss cert now.
Which vaccine did you have in EU - assume not AZ as seems 3 cantons I checked won't support that?
Looked at 3rd jab date here so I can get the Swiss cert - first available is end October. FFS.
I think this is because the new rules started only this week (13 Sep) and this requires:
(1) a QR code compatible with the EU system (which includes Switzerland, Ukraine, Turkey, North Macedonia and others who applied to be part of it); and
(2) meeting the Swiss requirements i.e. only a Swiss-approved vaccine, not AZ.
So that's different to the rules to enter Switzerland AND different to the previous rules to enter clubs. See here:

The UK applied very late to be part of the EU system, so it seems the idea is to be linked eventually (and also maybe why the Swiss won't allocate their own IT budget to recognise the NHS app now). Then UK-vaccinated with Pfizer or Moderna will be admitted into restaurants. See here:

Switzerland now approves AZ as dose 1 and Moderna/Pfizer as dose 2, whether the second jab was given in Switzerland or abroad (see BAG link above). After persuading the Impfzentrum staff and signing a lot of disclaimers, I was able to get a 3rd jab in Switzerland just to get myself a Swiss COVID cert - but I am resident here, not a tourist.
Yes thats the plan I have as well shame the first appointment was early October though.
Does this mean you had to AZ for 1&2, and a mRNA for 3.
My parents are UK, AZed, and over 50, so will be getting a Moderna or Pfiser booster in a couple of months, and I would like for them to be recognised of they visit again.

The SMS: "Die Bundesregierung befindet sich derzeit mit verschiedenen Bundesländern im Austausch über die gegenseitige Anerkennung von Zeugnissen.

I looked at the website, and outside the EU, no other country is listed in Appendix 5. But if you got a Swiss Covid Cert, I'll keep looking into it - I just thought it was a lost cause...
Just scan the QR code with the Covid Cert app?
I installed it for my parents in another EU country, so they didn't have to carry the papers around, and scanned their local certificates into it easily.
