Really? It clouded over here quiet early, temp. dropped about 2°C - hardly notcable - and I was sure it would rain soon. Maybe after the heat even a thunderstorm.
But nothing, still now.
It’s very hazy atm. Is it just weather related or is it from the various fires happening aorund in Europe?
I think all of the above, and the high ozone levels don’t help. The jet stream has moved north again so not so much particulate matter coming from Canada at the moment.

Also, it depends on the cause of the rain - thunderstorms normally mean showers which can be very localised (there’s a video on the web of one about 0.5m across!) so with unstable weather, there’s even less chance of getting one where MF is, unless the forecast is for her street.
For the second day in a row there has been a huge cooling downpour just over a kilometre from us whilst we’ve had nothing at all.
I’m really disappointed.
We haven’t had anything either. Did cloud over a little bit, but wasn’t really rain clouds and now the sun is shining away again. 
I’m feeling a flow of cool air coming into our overheated bedroom under the roof from the open window. Such a relief! Probably it’s getting cooler outside indeed.
All these complainers - and there is me, the lonely complainer on the other side.
However, my shower was hot this evening leaving a steamy window and steamed up mirrors. And I loved every minute of it … many.
Still, although it looked like it so often the past few days, we still had no rain at all.
It seems that all that missing rain is arriving by end of day, all at once.
The region inside a triangle formed by Bern, Zug, and Basel got a strong rainfall warning. Nothing to worry about if at home or in the train. For driving, be patient.

The new southern California. It never rains! It pours!
Had some rain yesterday evening and again this morning. More forecast for this afternoon/evening.
Rain snuck in here quiet and gently during the night. I heard a faint sound at some point, in the morning everything was wet but no rain. It stayed grey and darkish up until now and there was some drizzling every now and then.
It feels like a winter Sunday, calm, relaxed, not worth going outside and I’m baking a pie. If it gets any colder though I will possibly get annoyed.
Nice steady rain here atm. 
Batten down the hatches and make sure everything is either put away or secured so it can’t blow away.
27! Wtf! Gonna get drowned tonight if that’s right. Never seen the forecast so high before.
